Chapter 47

            I never believed when the books say, you'll get butterflies in your tummy if a guy you liked kissed you. But right as Jidenna kissed me, the butterflies in my tummy had baby butterflies that also had baby butterflies. He kissed me, Jidenna Arinze-Collins kissed me. My toes curled as his hand tightened round my waist pulling me closer to him. His lips actually tasted of mint and I reached my hands to his hair. It was even softer than I imagined. Yay me !! . When he released me,  my eyes were still closed as I pouted. "Oh, you're fucking cute" He chuckled touching my baby curls. He called me cute. "I.. am?" I said finally opening my eyes hoping I wasnt just dreaming. "No, youre fucking beautiful" he whispered touching my cheek and I blushed so much. Who put good luck in my pizza " I ... er..I should ..get back to er bed" I stuttered still trying to get my head wrapped in the fact that Jidenna kissed me, . "Sure. .em good night.. I mean good morning" he laughed and with that I rushed up the stairs to the room. "Where were you" Anulika sat up immediately, I ran in."water" I said quickly and rushed on the bed covering my head with the blankets, "youre going to give me the gist but I'll let you be for now." I heard Anulika said and my smile grew wider. I touched my lips and fell into blissful sleep ,
      "So sleeping beauty finally decided to grace us with her presence. "Fiyin said as I came down the stairs after I had taken my bath and dressed. "What are you wearing Fiyin" I laughed as I saw Fiyin setting up the dinning table in an apron. "The boys made breakfast. Yam and friend eggs" Anulika said hugging me and I giggled. "Hey.Good morning " Jidenna's said with a smile coming out of the kitchen in an apron but he seemed to be rocking it unlike Fiyin that looked like a stressed single father. "Em Hi" I blushed. "Are you sure,you want to eat my yam not yourselves" Fiyin frowned walking out again with a casserole and set it.
         "Let's pray" Fiyin said and we all raised our brows at him. "What do you people take me for. Abeg in Jesus name...." Fiyin prayed as we held hands together. "so what do you think, Kaima" Fiyin said eagerly and I laughed. I could feel Jidenna's stare on me too." What am I, a food judge. " I laughed and Fiyin growled and Jidenna face palmed himself. "Duhh. Answer joo. Say the real truth oo" Fiyin said and Anulika laughed ."ok. Its nice. The yam is still kinda hard and there's an extra salt to the eggs but other than that, it's delicious" I said with a smile." Osheyy,  Nigeria's next top chef in the making" Fiyin said happily while Jidenna had a content smile. "You cannot even pass the audition" Anulika said and we all laughed. "Dont worry na. I'll make you my dishwasher when I make it" Fiyin blew her a kiss, "fuck you!!" Anulika threw him a glare. "Ehn calm down till after breakfast na. children are on the table" Fiyin winked laughing and Anulika poked him with her fork. Meanwhile Jidenna and I were smiling and staring oblivious to the fact that Anulika and Fiyin were already looking at us. "Can you guys stop smiling at eachother, youre giving me indigestion." Fiyin grinned breaking the sweet serenity and Jidenna glared at him while he laughed.

Jidenna's pov

     "So, when are you going to tell her. "Fiyin said looking up from my laptop, we were currently in my room while the girls were washing the plates. They insisted since we cooked. "Tell who what" I asked although I had an idea what he was talking about.  "Guy, you know im talking about Kaima,  when are you going to tell her, you like her." Fiyin said shutting the laptop and looking up at me. Why do I have a smart best friend. "Who told you that" I said pretending to be looking for something in my closet. "I wii knock you oo. Who doesn't know you like. You fucking kissed her last night" Fiyin frowned. "Look, I dont know. I like her fine, but there are sometimes, I just dislike her." I growled and I wasnt lying. This was all because of Her. " Dude, you cant dislike her for what she doesn't even know about. You need to tell her. You like her and im this close to shipping you guys besides you know she really likes you too. Until you tell her, No kissing her " Fiyin said like my dad. "What the hell bro" I laughed and Fiyin shrugged smiling. " Dont waste time like me" Fiyin said and left. He was right.
