I've gotten used to these words.

Emptied all the bottles 'till the pain went away....

Those....not so much.

I didn't have any friends.

Whiskey was his friend...

No real ones.

Not since I was a boy.

My only friend sat right in mah hands, being gently nursed, before feelin' the warmth overcome me.

He didn't have another....

That was better.

I felt lonely.

Vicodin his vice...

I always felt lonely.

Perhaps some other fella is just as drunk as I am.

His real and only lover....

I want a kiss.
