today is the marking of my 8 months and that means it he can come out in any day
right now me and jack are laying in bed talking about the future well im laying in bed jack is laying on me listening to my stomach for some reason. he says he can hear the baby talking but i know thats not possible
"babe" he asks as i play with his hair
"yeah"
"do you think we're ready?"
"ready?"
"yeah for Hayden"
"oh baby i think we are more than ready. we are going to be the best parents on earth and hes going to be the best person on earth hes going to be super nice, cute, smart and everything"
"im just worried hes going to turn out like me"
"what does that mean"
"a cheater"
"oh dont worry about that though cause i am sure you will teach him how to be a good boyfriend and not a cheater"
"yeah i guess"
i continue to play with his hair until i drift off into a deep sleep
i wake up to the feeling of Jack kissing my stomach
i squint my eyes trying not to make it obvious im awake and suddenly he starts talking
"hey baby its me Jack, your daddy. right now mommy is sleeping cause she is really tired. but you are going to have the most amazing life ever. we will care for you so so so much. did you know that your due date is my birthday. we could be twins if you decide to come on time. anyways mommy and daddy have been through a lot together and i am so so so happy that me and her are your parents. i have made a million mistakes with your mom but she still loves me for some reason. it actually is a miracle that we're still together. but besides that i love your mom so much and i dont think id ever be the same without her. so im going to wrap up this speech because well im really tired. anyways i want you to know that no matter what i will always love you and you will never be alone. you can talk to me about literally anything you want okay. well goodnight baby i love you" he says and i feel tears and another kiss on my stomach
i smile at how amazing my life is and i couldnt be any happier with how everythings turning out
