It's one month in and everything is going smoothly. We bought two cribs and did another room so that Hayden can have his own room
Hayden was super happy when we came home and we had two instead of one
He is always playing with one of them 24/7
We're getting ready for Jack to go on tour and i already know it will be hard seeing as I have to deal with two newborns and one 1 year old that is already getting into acting up. No physical or emotional help and comfort will be hard but once he's back from tour I hope it will be better
Speaking of tour he's going to be gone for 3 months and I haven't told Hayden about it and I know he will be super sad without his dad there.
They are constantly together and practically inseparable.
Plus whenever Hayden is mad or not in the mood he always goes to Jack instead
Anyways today I am planning to tell him while Jack is at a meeting with the boys and the twins are napping which is right now
"Hay?" I call into the house
"Right here" he says running over to me
"I have to tell you something important"
"Okay lets go couch"
We go to the couch and he sits on my lap
"What it mommy"
"So you know how daddy is in a band"
"Yeah with uncles"
"Yeah. Well in two months he is going to be going on a tour"
"Wait birthday in two month"
"Oh I didn't even realize"
"Daddy not be here for birthday?"
"I don't know he might be and he might not"

"B-but I want daddy be here on birthday" he says starting to cry
"Oh baby don't cry" I say pulling him into a hug
"It not fair. I want daddy on birthday"
"I'm sure he'll be here"

"I'm home" Jack calls interrupting
"He- oh why is he crying" Jack asks when he sees Hayden crying on my shoulder
"You not be home on birthday" he pouts crossing his arms
"What do you mean?"
"You on tour with boys for birthday not with me. I want you on birthday"
"Oh you told him?" He asks me
"Yeah I had to but I didn't even think about the birthday"
"Buddy, I might not be home on your birthday but I promise when I get home we will celebrate"

"I can't help it if I'm not"
"Yes you can" Hayden says matter-of-factly

"You stay home on birthday no tour no concert home"
