"Happy birthday Lily" one of her friends Ethan say
"Thank you Ethan." She shyly responds

"Sure"
They hug awkwardly and I laugh
Ethan's mom comes up to me and laughs at them as well
"They're so awkward" she says
"I know. But cute anyways"
"Nice to meet you I'm Eden his mom"
"Nice to meet you I'm Lily's... well obviously"
She laughs and we shake hands
"I have a feeling one day they'll be married. All Ethan does is talk about her"
"Really"
"Yeah we can't get him to stop"
"Aw that's so cute"

Eventually everyone else comes and we give them pizza
"she has friends this makes me so happy" i whisper to Jack
"i knew she had them"
"yeah me too but i'm happy"
"you're so cute. maybe tonight we can do something fun"
"ooo i like what you're thinking" jack laughs and we continue to watch everyone

it's been a few hours and right now we are about to open her gifts
"mommy look" Lily calls me over as she opens one of them
"wow you wanted that"

she opens more gifts and she loves them all
then again she is a kid and they love everything so who really knows how she feels
eventually everyone's gifts are opened and it's time for cake
before i give her the cake, Hunter comes downstairs
"i'm going to Justin's" he whispers

"YAY!" all the kids yell and i laugh lighting the candles
"happy birthday" i place the cake in front of her and everyone sings
Lily looks so happy and it makes me so happy
i love her and i'm so glad she has friends
