12 Years Later
It's been 12 years and today is me and Jack's 30 year anniversary
Since it is a big one we are having a party that all of my kids decided to plan
they only told me that it's going to be them and their children, our parents and Jacks siblings, and the band
Hayden is now 30, the twins are both 29, and Lily is 17
Hayden married Hayley and they have three babies, two daughters and a son. one daughter, Hannah is 10, his son Harvey is 5, and the other daughter Hadley is 3. they are super cute and i love them so much
Hunter married Justin and they actually adopted two 16 year old twin siblings one boy and one girl, who were put into foster care over their biological parents kicking them out because they were gay. it's a super sad story but they're really great kids. the girl Hallie LOVES me and the boy Jackson gets nervous around us
he reminds me a lot of Hunter and i notice that when they're with us he clings to him
Ellianna isn't married yet, but she is engaged to a boy named Trey that she met in college
she is currently pregnant but we don't know what the gender is
lastly my little girl Lily is graduating next year and it's so sad
i knew this day was going to come, i can't keep having kids at home forever but it's still sad
we have one more year with her which is good. also she doesn't think she wants to go to college
her reason was that she loves us too much to leave which made me so happy
but Jack told her that she has to go and at least try
because the other kids left the house while she was still young she's been super close with us and hasn't really found any friends
she had friends in middle school but once she went to high school, they all stopped being her friend
it was so sad and she's just never tried to make any more

i'm getting ready for the party and suddenly Jack comes in the room
he comes up behind me and grabs my waist
"damn 30 years later and you're still that hot"
"oh stop"
"nope... so are you ready?"
"almost i just need to figure out what shirt matches everything"
"okay well i'll be downstairs. Ellianna picked up Lily a few minutes ago to go to the place so we have a little bit before we have to leave."
"do you know when we should"
"as soon as your ready"
he leaves the room and i finally find a shirt to wear
once i'm ready i go downstairs and we leave to the place
i have no idea where we're going but Jack does
"so where are we going?"
"its a surprise but all i'll say is it's a good thing you wore comfortable shoes"
"oh no is it outside?"
"i can't tell you that"
"seriously."
"fine yes its outside and i hope you'll recognize the place"

we finally arrive at the place and i automatically realize it's the park where we had our first date
"aw did you choose here?"
"nope they asked where we had our first kiss and i told them here and they made everything"
"that's so cute"
we get out of the car and walk over to where everyone is and the youngest, Hadley runs up to me
it's also her birthday today, so it's also her party
"grammy!!!" she screams
i pick her up and she squeals
"hi baby"
"happy anniversary with grampy"
"thank you... happy birthday did you get any gifts"
"mhm mommy and daddy gave me the best ones ever. did grampy give you anything"
"yup well i want to go see everyone else do you want to come with me"
"yes!"

i just got back from seeing everyone and it's crazy to see where my life has brought me
from first meeting Jack and our original relationship, to getting cheated on by him, and then getting back with him after my long crush on Zach, to marrying him and having our kids, and all of our fights and we still made it to 30 years
it's been crazy but i'm so happy with my life
the party ended a few hours ago and right now me and Jack are just laying in our bed
"i love you so much" he says to me kissing me
"i love you more. i'm so happy we're together"
"me too.. and it's not just going to stop at 30 years we're going to be together forever i promise you"
"you know you were my first ever boyfriend"
"i know... i'm sorry that first time i let you down"
"it's okay you've made up for it"
"good cause from the moment i got you back i've been trying to make sure you never feel how you did"
