We are on our way to the meet and I am kind of feeling light-headed but I know if I tell Jack he'll take me home to lay down
We get to the track and once we sit in the stands I feel much better
"When is Hayden running?" Hunter asks me
"I don't know why"
"I'm tired and hungry"
"We're getting food after this and you can sleep on my shoulder okay"
"Okay" he lays on my shoulder and closes his eyes
"OMG MOM LOOK" Ellie shoves her phone in my face and I push it away a little

"Look at the text! Look at the text!" I look at her text and it's from Ryan
Ryan- you're really pretty. Like when I look at you all I think is wow
"Oh wow he really likes you"
"I know!!! This is amazing what do I say back"
"Be nice say thank you and that it means a lot that he says that"

"I know I'm the master at flirting how do you think me and your dad got together"
"No offense but I think dad flirted with you first. Cause he's much better" Hunter says
"Aren't you supposed to be sleeping" I ask

The meet just ended and Hayden got first place so we are going to wherever he wants
"You did amazing I'm so proud," I say hugging him

"Hey Hayden you did really good" some girl his age says walking over to us

"So um I was wondering if you wanted to maybe come over tomorrow. If not it's fi-"
"Yeah I'll come over definitely"

The girl walks away leaving Hayden with a smile
"ooooo who's that" Ellie says
"her names Hayley she's my friend"
"ooooo your girlfriend" Ellie says making fun of him

"you guys are so annoying" Hunter says rolling his eyes
"stop fighting all of you"
"Sorry" they all say at the same time
We walk away from the track and go to the car for dinner
"Can we go to Olive Garden please" Hayden asks
"Ew no that's gross" Ellie responds
"You're only saying that because I want it"

"You guys are so childish." Hunter adds
"You're literally the youngest so"
"Um wrong me and Ellie are twins so I'm not the youngest"

"Will you guys just stop fighting you're giving mom a headache" Jack says noticing me put my hand on my head
"Is she okay?" Hunter asks
"I'm fine you guys are just being really loud and it's making my head hurt a lot"

We get to Olive Garden finally after the longest car ride ever and I am ready to eat
Hopefully I'll feel better once I've eaten but for now I feel like I'm dying
We all leave the car and I get out too fast because I begin to get dizzy again.
I quickly take Jacks hand and feel better
"You good?" He asks
"Yeah I'm fine just I really like your hand"
"Um okay"
We walk into Olive Garden and get sat right away
The kids are too busy on their phones and surprise surprise so is Jack
I turn his phone off and take it from him
"Hey that's mine" he says reaching for his phone
"And you're mine so talk to me" I move his hands away and hug him
"I guess you have a point"
"Exactly"
I reach over the table to the kids and take their phones too
"Hey!" They all say at the same time
"It's dinner and family time so talk to your family"
"But moooooom I was texting Hayley about tomorrow"
"Text her after we leave."
"But-"
"Nope"
"Mom you do not understand. This girl could end up as my wife one day"
"Oh Hayden you're only in middle school. There is absolutely no way she'll end up as your wife"
