Chapter 27- The Reason

Binilinan ko ang floor director namin na papuntahin si Margaux sa harapan ng stage sa last song. Ang dami ko ng nasabi pero wala pa si Margaux.

"So our last song is for that girl who gave me a reason to start over." Sabi ko.
Lumitaw si Margaux sa gilid at pinapunta ng isang security sa harapan. Mayroon fence sa pagitan ng stage at the crowd. And Margaux is in between the stage and the fence. Nasa likod niya sila Sky at Koko.

"I wrote this song the other day and I hope she will know how sorry I am for the things I did to her."
Nakatingin si Margaux sa akin.

Sumenyas ako kay Ryker dahil siya ang intro.

I asked one of our team to compile a video for me. It's our old video together that I saved... pero hindi ko pinakita ang mukha ni Margaux. It's either nakatalikod siya or nakatagilid. Lahat ng story namin, nasa video. Ang mga dating video noong magkasama pa kami. It will play habang kumakanta kami.

This is it... This is for you Margaux.

Napatinginsi Margaux sa LED screen... And I saw Dakota squealed behind her. Nakilala nila ang silhouette ni Margaux na nasa video na nagpaplay sa screen.

Nagsigawan ang mga fans, pero si Margaux, nakatitig sa screen.

Nagkahawak ang kamay ni Margaux na nakatapat sa puso niya ng tumingin siya sa akin. And I only look at her while I sing.

She smiles sadly to me pero nagpatuloy ako. Dahil kasalanan ko talaga. Sinaktan ko siya... ng paulit-ulit.

Pero heto ako... I am ready to face all my demons behind me. I am ready to fight with her. Ang tagal ko bago naintindihan na hindi paligsahan ng yaman ang relationship. Ang tagal ko bago nakita na simple lang ang gusto ni Margaux. Simpleng bagay lang ang nakakapagpangiti sa kanya. Gaya ng isang kanta.

Tinanguan ko si Brix at Mia para sila ang sumapo ng lead guitar. Huminto akong tumugtog at kinuha ang microphone. Lalong lumakas ang sigawan. Lumapit ako kay Margaux at lumuhod sa harapan ng stage para hindi siya masyadong tumingala.

May luha si Margaux sa mga mata pero nakangiti siya ng matapos ako.

"Oh my God..." Sigaw ni Dakota sa likod ni Margaux.
Nakangiti si Sky at sumisigaw ang kapatid niyang si Star.

"Nice..." Sabi ni Margaux at tumulo ang luha.
"And the reason is you." Sabi ko sa kanya ng malayo sa mic.
Pinunasan ko ang luha ni Margaux. Amoy microphone at string ng gitara ang kamay ko pero okay lang.

"Thank you Mall of Asia Arena..." Sigaw ko sa mic. I winked at her bago ko tinanguan ang isang security. Tinulungan niyang makabalik si Margaux sa backstage.

"Until next concert. Maraming salamat sa inyo." Nagbow kami sa stage at kumaway.

Meron pang meet and greet sa backstage para sa mga fans na nakakuha ng pass para magpa-autograph. Excited na akong matapos lahat ng ito at kausapin si Margaux.
