Note: This is Divergent fanfiction and has nothing to do with any schools that are actually in Chicago. And I also know that there are a lot of High School stories with the Divergent characters but I promise I will try to make it diffrent.
Disclaimer: I do not own the Divergent series. The amazing Veronica Roth does.
I wake to the sound of a buzzer. I know it's my alarm clock but I don't bother to do anything about it. Then I hear it cut off. I roll over and look at my alarm clock to see no one there.
The next thing I know, I have ice and cold water poured over my head. I turn around, furious, and see Caleb behind me with a blue bucket in his hand laughing.
"Caleb! What the heck? I was going to get up!" I yell.
"It's been going off for the last 15 minutes, Bea," Caleb says. I look over at my alarm clock and see that he is right. I only have 45 minutes to get dressed.
"Ugh! I'm getting up, Caleb. Now, please leave," I say.
"Cheer up! It's the first day of school!" He exclaims as he leaves the room. Today is the first day of senior year. Caleb is excited about learning. I know some girls who think that my brother is "hot" or seems "cool" but they really don't know him. Caleb is one of the nerd guys. Just last week he woke me up just to test a robot that he built. He got really mad at me when I called it a toy. And even more upset when some of my friends were over and also called it a toy also.
The only reason I enjoy school is because I get to see my friends. They are pretty cool but also a bunch of weird people. There's my best friend Christina. She is a total diva and she came over last night just to help me pick out my "first day of school outfit" so I would impress everyone. Then there's her boyfriend Will. He is the only one of my friends who defended Caleb on his robot, which causes it to be easy to state that he's a nerd. Then there is Marlene. She's really cool. But can also get kind of weird. She's dating Uriah. And he is, let's just say, colorful. He will do some of the most random things sometimes. There is also Lynn. She is really tough but can be a total softy when you get to know her. Her sister Shauna is also in my social circle. Shauna is super sweet. I don't know how her and her boyfriend ended up together. Her boyfriend, Zeke, is one of my friends. He is also Uriah's brother. Like Uriah, he is colorful and can act very, very weird. And finally, there is Four. He's really tough but very funny. Plus, all of the girls at school like him. And I will admit, he isn't hard on the eyes.
I hurry into the bathroom and dry my hair. Then, I put on some make up. Nothing much, just a little concealer, eye shadow, blush, and lip gloss. Next, I put on the clothes that Christina gave me. What she put out for me she must of dug to the back of my closet to find. It's a navy blue dress that goes to my knees and has lace. Everywhere. I've worn a couple times but never to school. I brush my teeth quickly and grab my brown leather boots and backpack. Then I head downstairs.
"Nice to see that you decided to join me," Caleb says when I enter the kitchen.
"Yeah, well, I would have joined you quicker if someone hadn't tried to baptize me with ice water this morning," I say as I grab a blueberry muffin.
"Hey, you wouldn't get out of bed so I got a little creative," he says. I stare at him.
"Are you sure it wasn't Four and Zeke? I saw you three whispering the other day when everyone came over," I question.
"Maybe it was their idea. Maybe it wasn't. It have no clue," he says.
"Whatever. I'll see you at school," I say as I walk out of the kitchen. I go out to my car and drive to school.

Tobias POV
"Dude, do you have any clue how much trouble we'll be in if Tris finds out what we did to her?" Zeke asks me. Last week, when we were all hanging out at her house we pulled her brother to the side and asked him to pour ice water on Tris to wake her up this morning. He texted us this morning and told us that he was able to accomplish it. He also sent us a video of her when she woke up.
