Chapter 58

Tobias P.O.V.

"So, you are really leaving?" Zeke asks. I nod. And cover my face with a pillow.

"New York. I can't believe all of this is happening," I say.

"I can't believe Tris is pregnant," Zeke states. I moan and throw the pillow at him.

"I know. This has all happened so fast," I say.

"So, this is it? We have two more months until graduation and then the next month will be packing up for college?" Zeke asks.

"Even if I wasn't going to New York, I would have to leave for Northern Illinois at the same time," I throw out.

"Did you really tell them you can't come?" Zeke asks with a raised eyebrow. I sigh and rest my head in my hands.

"Not yet. I'm not convinced that me going to New York is the best thing for us yet," I mumble. Zeke raises his eyebrows again.

"Well, Tris is obviously going. What are you gonna do if you don't do?" Zeke asks. My phone starts to ring in my pocket. I pull it out and Christina's name occupies the screen.

"Hold that thought," I say. I slide my phone open and hold the phone up to my ear. "Hello?" I ask.

"Tris! Where is she?" Christina yells into my ear. Panic rises in me. There is no telling what she could have done.

"What do you mean where is Tris?" I question.

"I had been trying to call her cellphone for like half an hour straight and she didn't answer. So, I was just like I guess her phone is dead because Tris never charges her phone, you know, so I called her house. Her dad answered and said she moved out and heard crying in the background. And so I just got off the phone with her," she says. My head starts to spin at all the possibilities that could have happened.

"I'm at Zeke's house. Meet us here as soon as you can get here," I quickly respond.
