I Don't Like You

"No," I shook my head. As in. Iyong iling na kulang na lang ay matanggal na iyong ulo ko. At saka asa naman siyang makikipag-dinner ako sa kanya, ano! "No way."

"What?" he asked, a bit confused with the way I reacted. "Why not?"

"Kasi hindi! Kaya akin na 'yan," I said pertaining to the paper bag kung nasaan iyong regalo ko para kay Duane.

"My, god! Just give me back my box!" I exclaimed.

I was already running out of patience! I don't even know what came into his mind that all of a sudden he wanted to have dinner with me! We weren't even close! And if ever na true man iyong sinasabi niya, then that's it! That's all that happened! We did that thing! I just don't get why he's still bugging me when clearly I was just one of his girls if that thing really happened between us.

"Have," he smirked. "Dinner."

"With."

"Me."

"No!" sigaw ko ulit sa kanya. He was seriously testing my patience! Ilang no pa ba ang kailangan kong sabihin para lang tantanan niya na ako?!

"Why not?" he asked, his forehead already creased. "It's just a dinner for goddamn's sake, Asia! What's so wrong with that?" his voice was already laced with annoyance this time.

I suddenly glanced at my wrist watch and saw the time. Shit. I'm sure Duane's already there! "I need to go!" I told him as I attempted to get the paper bag from him again. "Late na ako! Please..." I said. "Just give it back to me! Akin naman 'yan, e!"

Umiling nanaman siya. He was so annoying! Naka-smirk pa siya habang ako inis na inis na sa kanya! "Nah."

Mas lalong uminit ang dugo ko sa kanya. "Tiunggo ka! Tiunggo ka!" I said while slapping his chest. Nakakainis talaga siya! Sobra!

He chuckled as the side of his lips rose. "Gwapong tiunggo, you mean?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "Give it back!" I said. Pinilit ko ulit na abutin 'yung paper bag pero masyado talaga siyang matangkad for me to even reach the end of it! Bakit ba kasi ang haba ng legs niya?!

"In one condition, Asia."

Umayos na ako ng tayo habang lukot na lukot pa rin ang mukha ko. Fine! I give up! I just badly needed to get out of here and meet Duane!

Hindi bukal sa kalooban ay tumango ako ng dahan-dahan sa kanya. "Okay."

"Okay?" he asked unsurely.

Bingi lang?

"Okay nga, hindi ba?!" I said, already annoyed with him. 'Yung annoyance ko sa kanya, na-triple na! Hindi ko alam na may mas ikaiinis pa pala ako sa kanya! "I'll! Have! Dinner! With! You!" I shouted each word right at his damn annoying face!

Nilakasan ko talaga ang sabi sa bawat salita! Kaya naman everyone that passes us by, looks at us weirdly! Tusukin ko kaya 'yang mga mata nila?!

Tiu number two was shaking his head at me in amusement. "Ano?" I asked again.

"Tomorrow," he started. "At six pm. I'll pick you up at your condo," he said with a smile plastered on his mukhang monkey na face. My, god! Ang sarap lang gusutin nung mukha niya at tanggalin 'yang napaka-yabang na ngiti niya!
