"Time isnt the only thing that's expensive nowadays."

"Youre going out?" Tiffany's head turned as she heard someone asked, but the question wasnt for her but for the girl who just walked out of one of the bedrooms of their big house.

"Yeah."

"Isnt it a bit late Taeyeon?" Jessica asked as she stood up from the dining table and walked towards their kid leader who's wearing her sneakers.

Meanwhile Tiffany pretended she was still watching whatever show it was currently on t.v but her ears were on the two talking person in the room.

"Yeah? So why are you still up?" It was Taeyeon's retort. It was very unusual that Jessica Jung, their Sleeping-Ice Princess is still awake at 2 am in the morning.

"Where are you going Unnie?" Seohyun who just came out of her room rubbing her eyes asked.

"Out. Im meeting someone." Taeyeon's casually answered that made Tiffany's ears perked up. Kim Taeyeon is meeting someone at 2 in the morning. Say what?

"Date?" It was Sooyoung who was sitting just in front of Tiffany eating some chips.

"Nah, it cant be a date. I mean just look at Unnie, she's wearing sweat pants and an oversized jacket. She's probably just meeting a friend, like what she said." Yoona who took a handful of chips from the packet butted in.

Taeyeon only laughed and bid everyone goodbye and as she scanned the room and gave each of the bodies that was still wide awake a smile, her eyes landed on Tiffany. They stared at each other for a while, as if weighing each other's thoughts through their orbs and Tiffany swear, she saw something in Taeyeon's eyes. Something she cant pinpoint what exactly.

"Just drive carefully okay, road's wet since it has been raining for days now." Tiffany reminded her, not wanting to not say anything to the leader. She knew it would be awkward if she wont say anything so Tiffany willed herself to get those words out of her mouth. Its been days after the incident in the bedroom yet the two have never talked about it again. Not like they dont want to talk about it but they never get the chance. They were always busy and Taeyeon were always busier since she's the group's leader so some extra work was added to her plate. Time seems to be so adamant for Tiffany. She doesnt like it a bit. She was used to having all Taeyeon's attention before and now.. The girl's attention seems to be so hard to gain now. Or was it just her?

Tiffany just wants to apologize, cause instead of her being bashed and sent hurtful messages to, it was Taeyeon who bear all the weight of the fans' hate. She knew that having a private SNS account would save her from unimportant notifications, and its true yet she felt guilty for Taeyeon having to face all through it that in the first place it was her who should be reading those comments, good or bad. It was after all for her and her boyfriend.

"Do I ever not?" Taeyeon asked back and as if Tiffany was having the teasing of her life Yuri yelled from their shared room, "Never."

Everyone laughed realizing what exactly Taeyeon and Yuri had said. Everyone laughed except for Tiffany.

"Sorry Tiff, we didnt say it on purpose. I swear." Taeyeon said before putting her cup and pulled her hoodie over it. "We didnt plan it. Sorry."

"Yeah Tiff, sorry." Yuri yelled again.

"Its cool." Tiffany simply said and went back to watching the t.v.

"Ahh right.. Okay.. Uhmm Im going.. I wont probably back till tomorrow after noon so please save my butt from Manager Oppas and Unnie."

"Yah Kim Taeyeon.." Jessica started but the person's name she called out already left. She looked over to Tiffany who stood up and went to her bedroom without saying anything. The group then knew something happened between her and Taeyeon, something not really good. They exchaged glances, as if mentally communicating, asking if theyre all both thinking the same thing, they just smiled and let the night went on, knowing that tomorrow and the day after that would be their rest day before they head to Japan for their concert.

Taeyeon gripped tightly on her steering wheel. Her stomach were churning and her hands were sweating excessively as she waited on the parking lot. Though her mind was saying that its the right thing to feel, her hearts seems to say otherwise. In the deepest part of her heart, a small space there was contradicting what her mind says.

It doesnt feel right. Its not right. This is all wrong. Wrong.

Her mind was telling her that what she's doing is right. That its only right to be at the airport at 2 am in the morning, waiting for an 18 year old girl to come out . Her mind was telling her thats what the right thing to do. She was after all her girlfriend. So its just right for her to be there. Her mind says its right.. Yet her hearts says its wrong.. Its wrong cause she feels like she's cheating over Tiffany. And its crazy cause Tiffany isnt even hers in the first place. So why does it feel so wrong to be there?

A tap in the window pulled her from her thoughts. A smile which she's very familiar with yet very much stranger to her at the same time. She mirrored it before she went out of the car.

"Baby.." Jan greeted her, throwing her small figure to her. "Ive missed you."

"Ive missed you too." Taeyeon took her luggage after they pulled apart. "How's the flight?" She asked as she threw the luggage in the trunk.

"Its good, now that Im here with you." Jan answered once they were inside the car. Taeyeon smiled before leaning in and kissing the girl on the lips.

"Im happy that youre here with me too." Taeyeon almost choke on the word but she still delivered it perfectly.  She smiled again, masking herself, not wanting for the girl to see her sudden internal conflicts.. She doesnt want Jan to see the question inside her head so she started driving away from the airport, with their hands linked together and only separates whenever Taeyeon needs it to move the gear or steer the wheel but it will always find its way back to the girl's warm hands and thankfully that warmth and their eyes that seems to be talking to each other made it clear for her..

This is right.
