"Being with you scares me. Being without you scares me more."
"Rise and shine baby." Taeyeon shuffled under her blanket and let her head out of it to see her girlfriend opening the curtain, letting the sun brighten up their hotel room.
"What time is it?" She asked still half asleep as she turned to lay on her back.
"11." Jan answered as she tied her bathrobe and walked over the other side of the bed where Taeyeon is, giving a light peck on her girlfriend's lips. " Its already noon Tae, dont we have any plans for lunch?"
Taeyeon flung her arms around Jan's neck and pulled her closer, "Can we skip lunch and cuddle for the rest of the day?"
"As long as you wont complain youre hungry, maybe." Jan replied as she brushed Taeyeon's hair strands off her face.
In a few hours, the couple will have to separate and go back to their own countries, Jan in Thailand and Taeyeon in Korea. They were oceans apart and theyre both quite amazed how they were able to make it work for almost a month with only calls and chats in between their schedules. They both have works to do and a schedule to follow, Taeyeon being the always-busy one between the two always had to have her phone with her just in case Jan calls or she needed to steal some 5 minutes of her free time just to talk to her girlfriend and same goes for Jan as well. They were happy to hear each other's voice once a day and surprisingly they were okay with it. And being together for two days now, made them realize that they do need to spend some time together, not by just talking with their phones or video-chatting, but in-flesh, they needed each other's presence, warmth and touches.
"Ohh Im sure I wont." Taeyeon playfully replied as she completely pulled her girlfriend onto the bed and pinned her down, a smirk was evident on her face.
"I know youre a byunTae, but I didnt know youre that byun, my god Taeyeon." Jan said, trying to struggle out of Taeyeon's strong arms.
"Well isnt that what my fans loves about me so much?"
Jan pushed herself up, supporting herself by her two elbows when Taeyeon loosened her grip on her wrist. "So is it a good thing Im experiencing it first hand?"
"Yeah, you could say that." And Taeyeon kissed her passionately and demandingly. One that needs to be returned with just as much emotions which Jan willingly reciprocated, pulling Taeyeon down to her as they both sunk into the softness of the mattress.
"Baby, whats wrong? Youre here with me, but it seems like youre out there somewhere." Tiffany felt bad, she was with her boyfriend Nichkhun but her heart were somewhere else, specifically inside a hotel in Japan.
"Sorry baby, Im just really tired." She answered, taking her cup of mocha latte in her hand.
"Then you couldve told me. I would rather have you resting than be out here with me." He said smiling, the same smile that he has been giving her for years since they knew each other. The smile that looks just the same as hers, bright and full of love, enthusiasm and understanding.
"Khun, why do you love me?" She asked out of nowhere, she raised her head to meet her boyfriend's eyes. For a moment there, she was searching for his soul or rather, she was searching for something within him that she knew she can only find in Taeyeon. Something that Tiffany knew no words would be able to explain but she fully understands. She cannot name it but she knew it was there. And unfortunately, she cannot see it in her boyfriend.
"No, dont answer that. Just dont mind me." Tiffany said waving her hand in front of him.
"Tiff, tell me whats wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong baby. Im just over-stressed and also our fans are getting to my nerves lately." She lied.
"Dont mind them, they'll get over it in time. They werent just ready for it I guess."
"Are we?"
"What do you mean?'
"Nothing, I told you Im just tired. Can you drive me home? I dont think I can drive anymore, my head hurts." Nichkhun wanted to ask more but chose not to and had decided to keep it till his girlfriend is in a good condition for good serious talk. Its been a month since their dating confirmation came out and it seemed that theyve already hit a rock, a very big rock. And Nichkhun wont let that rock break them apart.
"Okay, I love you so please take good care of yourself." Tiffany looked blankly at him, somehow remembering Taeyeon's words "I love you so I'll take good care of you."
"Baby?"
"Im sorry, my head hurts so much." It wasnt really her head, but her heart.
"You'll call me when you arrive in Thailand, okay?"
"Yes mom."
"Is your luggage already set? Did you already fixed everything? Where's your passport?"
Jan hold Taeyeon's shoulders and faced her, "Taeyeon, baby, Im already an adult, I dont need to be told what to do. And if you havent noticed, my flight is an hour later than yours, I should be the one reminding you."
"Ohh right, right. But I just dont want you to have problems before you go, I wouldnt be here if something happened."
Jan holds Taeyeon's chin, " Tae, baby, Ive went to Korea by myself, Ive went here by myself, you think I wont be able to come home safely? I'll be fine baby. I promise." Taeyeon nodded.
"When will we see each other again?" Taeyeon queried, taking Jan's hand in hers. "My schedule will be jam-packed again till October, you know with the concert tours and the new album coming up, I wont be able to go to you anytime soon." She confessed.
"Its okay, Ive got works and stuffs back at home to do as well, I mean with school and all, I'll be a little bit busy too."
"I sometimes forgets that youre only 19." Taeyeon admitted.
"And I sometimes thinks youre really not 26. You dont really act like it." Jan pinched her nose and Taeyeon pouted.
"Is that bad though, me being childish?"
Jan shook her head. "Its actually cute, atleast that way, it never reminds me of our huge age gap."
"Im a pedo, arent I?"
"A little bit." Jan kissed her nose and Taeyeon pulled her closer by her waist. "Im gonna miss you." Taeyeon admitted and it made Jan smiled. "Me too."
They only spend two days together but for Taeyeon it felt longer than that and if she would want to admit it herself, she's gotten used of Jan being around her so much that she actually wants to be the with the girl every second of every hour of everyday, if only they did not live thousand of miles apart.
"You think we can make this work?"
"We already did for a month, what would be the difference for the next months Tae?"
"We wont be seeing each other for such a long time."
"We'll find a way." Jan closed their gap and pressed their lips together, kissing all Taeyeon's apprehensions away. "Trust me."
Yeah, cause I sure dont trust myself that much. Taeyeon mentally replied, already foreseeing the things that will happen for the next months before they see each other again, with Tiffany always around her. Its already been hard for her for a month, what more the next few months?
