"Mo..mmy?" Taeyeon repeated as she took a step out of the back hug and confusingly stared at Tiffany who only smiled back. Tiffany knelt down in front of Taeny and brushed her silky brown hair. "Baby, Papa is waiting for you in the car, mommy just needs to talk to her long time friend, can you please tell Papa that? I'll just see you at home okay?"
"Okay mommy just dont stay out long okay? Its so boring to be with Papa all the time." Taeny answered with a pout and crossed arms on her chest but it immediately disappeared as soon as Tiffany kissed her cheek and hugged her. Taeny then ran off but she suddenly stopped and turned around, bowed to Taeyeon and waved her hand as she said, "Its nice to meet you Ahjumma." before running off again. Taeyeon found herself smiling as she watched the little Tiffany run, she resembles Tiffany so much, she thought.
"No wonder she reminds me of you, she's so cute."
"I know. She reminds me of you sometimes too." Tiffany replied before turning to face her and the instant Tiffany did, Taeyeon felt like she just withdrew the last breath she had in her lungs. Tiffany look so stunningly beautiful, more now than before and that totally rendered her breathless. She look so much classier than the last time she remembered her to be. And there she was, still the same hobo kid 5 years ago.
Taeyeon felt her cheeks got burned that she had to look away and silently thanked Soehyun for coming to her rescue because the more she spent under Tiffany's rather calm and welcoming gaze, she felt like she's about to melt. And just like years ago, she knows what to do about it and at the same time she doesnt, so as soon as she heard Seohyun called out, yelling to them that Sunny and the rest of the Soshi members was already in the restaurant waiting for them, she immediately walked towards the parking lot. Seohyun and Tiffany knowingly followed behind her to her car which they will be using to go to the said meeting place.
Taeyeon smiled stupidly at herself, confirming to herself that there's still that same distinct feeling for Tiffany inside her. That the feeling she still has for Tiffany was still there, resurfacing and even more stronger than before. It was a marvel for her to know that after all those years they never saw each other, she never really did stop loving her. One look at her and Taeyeon knew.. she knew that she still loves Tiffany. She's still hopelessly, madly and deeply in love with her.
"Tae, are you okay?" That brought back Taeyeon to reality as she heard Tiffany's voice. "Im okay Tiff.. Better actually." Then Taeyeon drove off with a smile that didnt wore off till they arrived at the restaurant.
"What's with the stupid smile on your face Kim Taeyeon?" Jessica asked with her arms crossed onto her chest.
"What? Cant I smile when all you girls are here with me again?" Taeyeon playfully answered.
"Please check Taeyeon, she probably have a fever." Hyoyeon said as if the words that left Taeyeon's lips were out-of-this-world.
"Come on guys, Im just happy that were all complete again, Us nine.." Taeyeon tried to hug the eight woman in front of her who hugged her back.
"Okay,Okay, we get it. You missed us, now can we sit down so we can eat? Im starving."
"When did you ever not?" Taeyeon asked, shaking her head at their tallest member.
"Never." Yuri answered rolling her eyes and realizing what they did, Taeyeon snapped her head to Tiffany who burst into a fit of laughter. A breath of relief escaped her chest. It felt good for her to see that Tiffany wasnt fazed out about it, even a bit, unlike before.
"I cant believe Khun's words will still be relevant till now." Tiffany said as she sat down next to Taeyeon.
"We cant believe it either." Yuri joked and again Tiffany laughed, something Taeyeon had missed so much and for a moment there, she had forgotten that the object of their entertainment was Tiffany's husband.
They started eating in between stories, laughter and more stories. Taeyeon barely finished her food because she was more interested with the story than the delicacy in front of her that everytime she heard a funny story, she stops eating just to laugh along with the rest of the members.
This felt so right.
This is how things should be, the nine of them eating together, laughing.. There's no day that Taeyeon asked for this to happen again and now that it already did, she sure captured the moment in her heart and that she cannot ask for more than this to happen again in the near future.
Right after the dinner, Hyoyeon took the girls to the most hip pub in Korea. They took shots, beers and they even planned to drunk themselves to death because no one knows when will be the next time this will happen since Taeyeon wont be around again for the next two years or unless the company will grant her that vacation her parents had been asking her about. She still needs to do a lot and she's only halfway through her planner.
Drinks came and went. By the time the clock hit 3 in the morning, all of them was drunk to the point that they cant walk properly that Taeyeon decided to just go and check in to the nearest hotel. Yuri and Jessica personally asked to have their own room. Sunny, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung were all together in one room since Sunny doesnt seem she'd let go of Sooyoung's neck right after she dozed off when she piggy back carried her, and the two maknaes were as usual paired together in one room which led Taeyeon and Tiffany to share one with each other.
As everyone bid each other goodnights and head inside their respective rooms, Taeyeon suddenly become sober, knowing thats she's about to sleep in the same room as Tiffany.
Taeyeon found the younger girl in the balcony after she made sure that all the girls were safely tucked inside the blankets.
"Arent you cold?" She asked with which Tiffany answered by shaking her head.
"A lot has happened huh?" Taeyeon nodded her head as she mirrored Tiffany's position,standing by the railing with her hands propping her head, staring ahead of her. "And I think we still have a lot of things to talk about."
"Yeah, I think we do." Taeyeon seconded as she dragged her feet to sit on one of the chairs. Tiffany turned around and looked at her and Taeyeon could feel how intense the stare was thats she's feeling a bit uncomfortable with it. Her heart seemed like it stopped beating as she heard Tiffany said out loud.
"I still love you Tae..Im still in love with you."
