"Some things are not bound to end."
Its been 5 years since Taeyeon last stepped on Korea's soil.. Since the scandal broke out, since Girl's Generation's disbandment and since Korean fans saw her. And while it was a new yet familiar feeling for her, still the fear of being not welcome lurks inside her. She's still afraid of those people's hurtful words although it had been long since she had one, but the scars remained and it reminds her of what she used to have before and what she had lost and up until now, it still hurts. It haunts her and it creeps inside her dream every other night.
"Are you okay Taeyeon?" A man older than her of 5 years asked as they walked out of the airplane. "You seemed troubled?"
"Im okay Manager Kimura. Its been a while since I was here, Im just overwhelmed."
"Do you want me to cancel all your appointments for today?"
"No..No..Im fine. I just need to get used to this again." Taeyeon offered her manager a smile before putting on her sunglasses as she walked out of the airport. Thousands of fans were outside holding different signage that says 'We missed you.' And 'We thought you'd never come back.' It made Taeyeon happy to know that the fans who she had left was still there and waited for her to come back. She may still have a lot of anti-fans but her true fans who stayed strong and believed her never left her side and kept on supporting her even though she's now labeled as a Japanese singer after a big Japanese Music Label offered her a chance of a lifetime to be a soloist, not only did she went back to singing but also it had become her way to reconnect with her fans with her numerous hit songs and dramas as well.
For five years, Taeyeon had become busy with her World Tours, opportunities never stop coming for her, every music label has offered her one or two duets with their artists, she's been offered a lot of OST's and commercials and its actually the same reason she's back in Korea. SS Ent, one of Korea's leading music label after SM ENT, had offered her a collaboration with all the artist for a song. She's been on the heat that it took SS Ent five years to get an appointment settled.
Taeyeon did felt welcome and very much thankful to her fans so as soon as she stepped out of the airport first thing she did was took a photo with all her fans standing behind her. She cried as her fans shed tears while she bid them goodbye but she promised that it wont be the last time theyre going to see her.
Whilst it was emotional with her fans, her parents was really happy to see her so full of energy and joy being back to her country. With their daughter's busy schedule its been hard for them to have one full family day cause every now and then, Taeyeon's manager would call her for a sudden meeting and activity, so theyre really happy to have Taeyeon back in their arms eventhough its not for a long time cause she needs to go back to Japan immediately after her activities in Korea.
"You should really ask your company for a longer vacation." Taeyeon's mother told her once they got inside the limousine.
"Im planning to do that after this." Taeyeon answered before drifting to sleep as soon as the car drove away from the airport.
Meetings, fansign events and more meetings happened on her first day in Korea. Second day was spent with various music show recordings and commercial shoots. Third day was t.v show guesting and drama cameo. And the fourth day was the day she met SS ENT's executives.
"I cant believe youve done it Sunny. I mean.. I know you can do it but I just cant believe it already happened this fast.. I mean look at you.. SoShi Ent's CEO Lee Soonkyu." Taeyeon excitedly said as she hugged her friend she had missed so much. Being away from Korea, she didnt heard about SS ENt till her manager told her about it and it was really a surprise to know it was the company her group had planned to make once theyre not the SoShi idol group anymore and really it was the best news she ever had for being in Korea for days.
