(Anna)

"I had a great time meeting them. I really did. They are all such nice people."

"They are. They have always been very welcoming."

Thor and I walked down the hall together, in a chipper mood. Vanaheim had offered their aid in case of an attack and even gave us some pointers on our security. They suggested protecting things in old fashioned ways because others don't often think that that would be where we would hide our most valuable possessions.

We came upon the throne room and were met by Leolin and By. Leolin ran to hug me. I hugged him back, picking him up and squeezing him. Then I handed him to Thor, who play fought with him.

"Your fiance is quite bossy when you're not around." By said, coming to stand by me as we watched Thor play with Leolin on the floor.

"Really? How so?"

"He's been telling everyone what to do. And seems to have forgotten how to do anything for himself."

I gave By and odd look and then turned around, and went into the throne room.

I found Torren sitting on the throne, a triumphant look on his face. I crossed my arms when I got in front of him. "How'd everything go?"

"Splendedly."

"Mmmhmm." I nodded.

"And how is my fiance?" He strutted down to me, taking my hips and pressing his lower body against mine.

I laughed. He never did this. "What's gotten into you?"

"Nothing. I'm just so very happy. I've got my fiance and this wonderful kingdom. What could be better?"

He leaned down and kissed me passionately, hungrily. His tongue found mine, and he pressed me close to him. What was this new and improved Torren?

I pulled back, laughing. "Your different." I said.

"How so?" His hand dropped lower, and I pulled it back up, smiling

"Your- wild." I didn't know how to explain this.

"I'm re-evaluating my life." He took me by the hand and spun me around like a ballerina.

I saw By with a disgusted look on his face as he watched us and Thor still playing with Leolin.

"Come with me." He whispered in my ear. "I missed you."

I giggled, following Torren as he led me to his chambers.

**************

"Wow." That was all I could say.

What had just happened between us was so different from anything we had ever done. It was hot and hungry and dirty and amazing. I was still breathing heavy, knowing I'd be sore in the morning. He laughed, and it was a different laugh than I was used to, lower and darker.

"What has gotten into you." I said, still breathless.

"New things are on the horizon, fiance. New, glorious things. And I can't wait."

"Why do you keep calling me 'fiance'?" I asked curiously.

He was silent for a beat to long. "I just can't believe you are mine, is all."

"Mmm." I was starting to drift to sleep and turned on myside.

I felt him tracing his finger on my back. "I just can't believe you would pick this boring King to make a woman out of you."

But I didn't hear the words, because I was long gone in my dreams.
