(Leolin)

I left Stark's pristine office, and instead of heading to my left, which led back the way I had come from, I turned right.

I was not about to leave this place.

I had a job to do.

I held my head high and walked as if I owned this place. I chuckled to myself, thinking of the ridiculous notion. If I ever had my own place, this would be the last place I would choose. The tall glass structure was not my kind of palace. I didn't need the fancy technology or the multitufe of employees with sticks shoved up their asses.

No, my kind of palace was my own entire galaxy, full of stars, planets and people who worshipped me, kneeled down at my feet to do my bidding. My heart thudded against my chest with excitement, at the thought of the smooth feel of my throne beneath me.

The sniveling humans around me stayed out of my way, not a single one casting more than a glance my way. My shoes clicked on the hard granite floor as I headed towards the elevator. There was one at the end of the hall.

But that was not the one I needed.

I took a sharp turn to the left down an empty hallway. There were a few dark, locked doors, but at the end of the short corridor was a blank wall. I reached out and touched the wall with my hand until I felt a small groove. With my pointer finger, I followed the groove up and over and back down again.

Bingo.

Secret elevator: found.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!"

I let my head fall back and groaned. Perfect. A pest.

I turned around and crossed my arms. "Can I help you?"

"Yea. You're not supposed to be down here, buddy." A big bulky man walked towards me. He was dressed all in black. He wore a bullet proof vest and was packing. He stomped towards me and I had to resist the urge to knock him off his feet.

But then I smiled at him widely.

He narrowed his eyes at me and then roughly grabbed my by the arm. "Come on, Pretty Boy."

I rolled my eyes and then twisted quickly, binding the his arm behind him. He didn't have a chance to cry out before I covered his mouth with my other hand.

"Now, you're going to do me a little favor." I hissed terribly in his ear.

I felt him tense and then shiver beneath my grip, sweat beginning to bead on his forehead.

He was shorter than me, but at least twice my weight. But that didn't make a difference. I turned him so that he was facing the wall.

"Let's go on a little trip, shall we?" He struggled against me, "Now, now." I told him. "You're going to listen very carefully. And you're going to do everything I say, do you understand?" I said smoothly in his ear, using my abilities to persuade him.

I smiled as I felt him slack against me, submissing to my words. I slowly let go of him and he turned to face me. "Where to, Sir?"

I laughed, "Now, that's more like it." I reached out and straightened his shirt. I pointed back to the wall which I had been feeling earlier, where I had found the secret elevator. "Open it." I said, pointing at the wall.

The guard, Baxter, his badge said, turned towards the wall and pulled out his ring of keys. He flipped through them for a moment, rattling the metal loudly, before settling on a shiny black key. He inserted the key in a small slit in the wall, a place I had missed entirely, and turned it. Almost immediately, the elevator doors became visible. I put my hands in my pockets and smiled as I watched Baxter type in a code, a long one, that finally made the onyx doors of the elevator open soundlessly.
