(Leolin)

"Again?" she asks me.

"Yes, again. Master has given me direct orders. You know my job, Talia." I brushed my hair back, as it was long enough that it was falling in my eyes on a regular basis.

Talia crossed her arms, glaring at me. "And when you get back?"

"Then we will go to Jotenheim. Stop worrying, sister." I told her, looking at my nails. I was sitting on my bed, my back propped up by the pillows.

She pursed her lips. "I know. You're right. I suppose I am just nervous about our mother coming here to give Master the stone."

I froze at the mention of our mother. "Why are you nervous?"

She looked at me as if I was an idiot. "Do you not realize how powerful she is?" She laughed. "Do you know how angry she is that you and I were raised by Master?"

"We were better off this way, and you know it. Neither of us belong tied down to Asgard. We desearve to rule the universe beside our true father. What did our birth fathers ever do for us, huh? Yours let you die and mine died before I was born." I felt the anger rising. I hated talking about our biological parents, especially our shared mother. I barely remember her face.

"That doesn't erase the fact of her immense power. What is she going to do when she sees me, a woman, grown and on the throne of Jotenhiem? Hell, what is she going to do when she sees YOU? You were only five years old when I brought you here. Now, you're a full grown man, and your power is far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. You're as beautiful as your mother and as handsome as your father. If you were on Asgard, you'd have Kings from everywhere offering you their daughters." She chuckles softly at her insanity.

"I don't need to be tied down by some woman." I said, disgusted. I put my hands behind my head and leaned back, closing my eyes.

"Whatever. Will you put on some clothes, for the love of god." She snapped.

My eyes popped open and I glared at her. I looked down at myself. My thick shirt was open, revealing my torso. I had several metal necklaces dangling from my neck and my pants hung low on my hips, but were held by a thick belt. I swung my legs over and my boots slammed hard onto the ground. I walked over to Talia, pushing my sleeves up to my elbows.

She looked scared. As she damn well should be.

"I do have clothes on." I whispered menacingly in her face. She flinched back.

I licked my teeth, waiting for her to say something. Her dark hair fell in her face.

I pushed it behind her ear. "You know better than to tell me what to do, even if you are older than me." I stepped back, "Now cheer up. I have business to attend to. And when I am back, you'll be getting married, becoming queen, assassinating the Frost Giant King, and it will all be on your 25th birthday."

"Yes, brother." She said. She smiled slightly, not quite sure of herself. "Mother will shit her pants when she sees that she has a 23 year old son."

I grinned, spreading my arms wide. "And a sexy beast too." I winked at my sister. "Besides, what does she care if I'm 23? What does she expect to happen? That's what people do; They age."

She chuckles nervously, but turns her face from me.

She turned to leave without another word, closing the door softly behind her.

I sighed, once agan brushing my hair back.

I needed to finish packing. My monthly job had yet again arrived.
