(Anna) ONE WEEK LATER

"Hello, Darling." Loki said seductively, scaring me as he had come out of the library unannounced. He grabbed my hand when he saw my smile and pulled me into the room.

I laughed and pulled back, but he already had me wound tight in his arms. "I-" Before I could get another syllable out, his lips came crashing down on mine, and his hands found themselves tangled in my hair. Even after all this time, his kisses still made my head swim. I melted against him and looped my fingers in his belt loops. He smiled against my lips and walked backwards, pulling me with him, not taking his mouth off mine.

He wound his way around the library until he found a spot that must have pleased him. He shoved me against a fairly empty bookshelf (a new addition), and pinned my hands above me. I moaned softly, closing my eyes, as his lips found my neck. Every touch sent a thousand shocks through me and every breath was hot.

"We haven't done it here yet." He whispered in my ear before biting on it softly. Shivers went up and down my spine and he smiled at my reaction. He knew he had total control over me and he loved it. He loved that all he had to do was look at me and I turned into a puddle. Since we had been back to Asgard and once we got on our feet again, Loki liked to take me away to various parts of the castle and have his way with me.

I certainly didn't complain.

We had done it in the library. On the couch to be exact. But we hadn't done it standing by the bookshelves. I pulled at his bottom lip with my teeth has his hands went back to my hair.

"What are you going to do when we run out of new places to make passionate love?" I asked, joking with him. I pulled on his hair, now that he had moved on to kissing my chest.

"Then we will do it again, but in a different position." He said. And I knew he meant it. Even with all the duties we had as King and Queen, he somehow always found the time to pull me to the side for a few minutes. It drove me wonderfully insane, and I didn't dare stop it.

The past month has gone by in a blur. With trying to take care of Hela, and the kingdom needing ruling, and Loki taking me into dark corners to satisfy his needs, I don't know where I got the time to breathe.

Hela still conjured up ghosts now and again, but we had gotten used to that. What we hadn't gotten used to was when she somehow got more than a ghost to join us. When I turn around in her nursery and see a handful of zombie-like men and women, it nearly gives me a heart attack.

The first time I saw her "flicker", I was petrified. She looked like something out of a horror movie. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, her skin turns a deathly gray color and her hair becomes greasy. Her eyes seem distant and hollow and everything about her screams death. I have no idea how far her powers will extend and where they would take her in life. I only hoped it didn't lead her somewhere that she'd never be able to get out of. Loki and I agreed that we would let her live her life how she chose. We would let her make mistakes and learn from them, but we would also teach her right from wrong.

"Loki, the baby." I breathed as he tried to pull the neck of my dress down.

He sighed and looked up at me with large puppy dog eyes, "Just a few more minutes?" He begged, running his thumbs along the tops of my breasts.

I laughed and pulled away from him, fixing my dress. "No." He pouted his lip and grabbed my waist. "I'm all yours tonight." I promised, kissing him softly. Wrong idea. Loki took the chance to bit my bottom lip and pull me closer still. He smiled as I pushed against him, and finally let me go.

"That child is ruining my love life." He joked, poking my butt as I walked away. I heard him follow and he quickly fell into step beside me.

"That child is a result of your love life." I joked back. "So you'll have to deal with the consequences."
