(Loki)

We left Amora while we went and prepared for our mission.

I watched as Anna decided what she wanted to wear. She wanted to be covered and protected, but she wanted to be able to move. I watched on in silence as she put on a pair of thick black pants and her favorite boots. She then decided on a black tanktop, and covered herself with a thick leather jacket. The necklace Amora had given her hung on her neck, dipping just below the neckline of her shirt. She kept her hair pulled back and put on a pair of fighting gloves. She concealed a few knifes on her person, though I was sure she would be fine without them.

I dressed similarly, in all black. I zipped up my jacket, which zipped on the left side of my chest instead of in the center, and it had a large hood on the back, good for hiding my face in shadow. I put my own gloves on, but unlike Anna's the fingers were not cut off. Half of my black hair was pulled back from my face, and it blended in perfectly with my clothing. My own necklace hung on my chest.

We walked out of the room together, sharing the silence.

By was waiting for us in the hall. He too, was dressed in all black and his dark hair was pulled into a low bun. He seemed nervous. I suppose this was new to him.

There was one thing that needed to be done before leaving.

I had to see Thor.

Anna and By followed me to his chambers, where he had recently been moved. The guards opened the doors and we found Thor sitting up in his bed, reading. He smiled brightly at us and we walked over to greet him. I gave him a quick hug, By nodded his head in a 'hello', and Anna sat next to him on the bed, squeezing his hand.

"How are you?" She asked him.

"Not too bad, honestly. I am almost healed." he said. He seemed genuinely happy. His old attitude was back in place. "Any news?"

We had kind of kept him out of the loop for a few days.

I watched the emotions change on his face as we told him what had happened.

"You want me to stay here, don't you?" He asked, sadly. I think he wanted to go with us.

"You are not yet healed. And we need someone to protect Asgard." Anna patted his arm softly.

He looked up at her and reached a hand up to her cheek and patted it. "I hope you are successful. Come back alive, will you?" He turned to me now, "Make sure you keep this one safe, Loki. I like her." He smiled warmly at me. I nodded my head in understanding.

Thor would stay here while we went to save our son, the Prince of Asgard.

We said our goodbye's to my brother, and I hoped they wouldn't be the last.

We filed back in to meet with Amora. She was waiting for us patiently by the fireplace. She turned and walked towards us.

"Are you ready?" She asked, looking at all of us. I still had an uneasy feeling about her, but I ignored it. She'd be gone soon anyway.

"Yes," Anna said. "Where will you be sending us?"

"To a place that is as close as I can get to where your son is. When He is ready, an invitation will be sent, and he will bring you to him." Amora folded her hands under her chin.

"Thank you for your help." Anna surprised us all by saying. Of all of us, Anna seemed to dislike Amora the most.

Amora bowed greatfully. When she straightened, there was a sad look in her eyes, and something else that I couldn't quite place. "I am pleased to have helped the Queen of Asgard." She smiled fondly. "They are lucky to have such a wonderful woman on the throne, taking care of them."

Anna blushed, bowing her head in a graceful 'thank you'.

"Alright, then. Let's get you all on the road then." Amora gestured for Anna, By, and I to gather together and take hands.

"Remember," I told her. "As soon as we are gone, you will immediately go back into exile." I almost hated to say it, but she just wasn't ready to be fully trusted yet.

She glanced at By, and I felt his hand warm in mine. "I am aware." She said tersely.

"Let's go, then." By said, bowing his head.

Anna and I did the same.

We waited patiently, but nervously as Amora recited the incantation that would send us far, far away.

It didn't take long for me to feel as if my soul, if I had one, was trying to leave my body. And soon after that, the room disappeared in a cloud of blackness and colored swirls. This was nothing like travelling through the Bi-Frost. It was messier and rougher. Amora had also warned us that time moved slightly differently in such travel. To us, it may feel like 3 seconds, but when we landed, it will have actually been 3 days. This would put us on the very last day to meet with Leolin's captor.

And so we left Asgard behind, not knowing if we would ever see it again.

(Amora)

They disappeared in a puff of smoke.

I waited a few seconds before moving. I was alone.

And I was free.

Loki had not been aware that By had freed me of my bonds and that I was now a free woman.

I smiled to myself with glee.

It had been so long since I had played a trick like that on someone.

And the best part was, I would still keep up my end of By's bargain. But in the end, I will be the only one to gain anything.

I laughed to myself, and spun around, my cape flowing around me, and I too disappeared.

Disappeared into the night, the universe, and to anywhere I wished to be.

But they needent forget about me.

I would surely be back.
