I'd screwed up.
Oh, I had screwed up bad.
Amora had been working for Thanos this entire time.
And I made a deal with her. I had freed her. The woman was powerful and unhinged. Who knows what she would do when she had her crown, what she would make the other witches do, what she would make idiot men like me do.
Helblindi was also dead.
And as much as that screwed shit up further, it meant I was about to be in some deep, deep shit.
I struggled against the rope on my wrists uselessly. Anna was talking to Thanos, though I couldn't make out their conversation. How did she stand so close to him, so unafraid?
Because she was Anna.
Beautiful, stong, Anna.
How had I gotten so lucky to find her, only to lose her again.
My life never ceased to screw me.
Anna turned around and watched as a man walked towards her. He was young, about her age, tall and pale, with black hair.
He flicked his attention towards Loki and I saw his face.
Shit.
Things just got complicated.
Another slap across the face, brought to you by: my life.
I gasped in terrified surprise as Leolin whips out a knife and lunges towards Anna.
