(Anna)
The sleeping potion had worked.
I slept peacefully in my own room, getting some much needed rest.
I dreaded what would happen the next day.
*********
I slowly got dressed, trying to make a plan. How were we going to defeat Mangog? What did he want?
I suddenly heard a loud knock on my door. I jumped, praying it was someone, anyone besides Mangog.
My prayers were not answered.
"Hi." I said quietly.
"Who did it?" He asked angrily, stepping forward.
I began to walk backwards, "Did what?"
Shit. Shit shit shit.
"Tried to poison me." He reached out, pushing me roughly, making me stumble.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about." Shit.
"Don't lie to me, darling."
I stopped in my tracks, making him run into me, surprised at my sudden confidence.
"Don't. Call. Me. That." I was furious. No one used that name for me. No one. I didn't care if they were the most powerful being that ever existed. There was only one man who could call me darling. And he was dead.
"Excuse me?" He looked at me, searching my eyes. All of a sudden, he threw his head back, laughing.
But it wasn't a normal laugh.
It was if billions of tortured souls were laughing. I slowly stepped back and he looked at me through his eyebrows, smiling terribly.
"So you figured it out, did you?" He asked, moving towards me.
"You're not very good at blending in." I kept my eyes on him.
"Ah, but you sure let me have my way with you." He licked his lips, slowly looking me up and down.
"What do you want?" I blurted.
"Right now? Right now, I want you to obey me."
"I'll pass. What do you want with Asgard?" I scowled. He would never touch me again.
"To destroy it." he kept advancing.
"Then why not do it already? Why all the lolly-gagging?" I asked, turning since the wall was now behind me.
"I wanted to have a little fun first." He winked. "And I want to destroy it last."
"Last?" I almost stopped walking.
He looked at me, knowing I was try to get information out of him.
"Oh, come on!" I teased. "It's not like I'll be around to see the outcome. You'll probably kill me or torture me, at the very least, before leaving this room. At least let me know what's going to happen."
He laughed. "You're a smart girl."
I smiled sarcastically.
"I want to start a war. And I want Asgard to start it. Every planet from every realm with come to Asgard for revenge. And then I will kill them all, saving the best for last." He cracked his neck. "I'll save your dear brother for last."
He was going to start an interplanetary war. And I had to stop him.
"Thor? What's he got to do with this?" He kept following me.
"I just want to watch as he watches his father's, and his father's father's kingdom burn." He grinned widely.
"Then what will you do?" I asked.
This threw him off. "What do you mean?"
"So you want to rule over a heap of ash? Exciting." I spat.
"I have things waiting for me. I will be a glorious king."
"It's not that great of a job, you know."
He looked at me, confounded. "I do not wish to rule over obeying citizens."
Now I was confused.
"I wish to rule an army. An army that will be the most powerful thing anyone in the universe has ever seen."
"And when you're done with your destruction?" I threw my head in attitude. "You're plan has too many flaws. Too many dead ends."
"We'll see." He began walking faster. I lit my hands up with fire, and this made him grin in anticipation.
"By the way, you killed the wrong person."
He stopped walking, clearly caught off his guard. He scruched his eyebrows. "I do not understand."
"No, you don't." I enlarged the flames in my hands, making it burn blue instead of orange.
"Because I'm the Queen, bitch."
And then I shot fire towards his face.
