THE BEGINNING

chan, never thought he'd fall in love with a freshman. it went the same for jeongin as well. during his first year of high school, his eyes were set on the bang chan. chan was the boy you'd want to befriend and have a healthy relationship with. he was the type of guy who could warm your heart or make your day better. which jeongin loved. the first day he took a step into his new school, he encountered chan for the first time as well.

chan was waiting for a couple of his friends, but he almost ran into jeongin in the process. they touched, almost slightly.

but jeongin swear he felt a spark between them. ever since that day, he looked up to chan. not as in idolizing him, but in a more freakish and unhealthy way. after a month of being in school, jeongin was planning different ways to wiggle into chan's heart. their age and grade difference made things much more harder. the classes, the level of stress put upon chan, his responsibilities, his needs. they all affected jeongin's mission in some way.

but it didn't stop the younger. he had ideas of befriending one of chan's mutuals. such as kim woojin, a teacher assistant in his choir class. woojin was close to chan, jeongin could sense it. they were close.

key word, were. he was able to figure out what was between the two seniors. supposedly they use to date for a little to where it crashed and burned. woojin and chan still remained good friends but nobody talks about it anymore due to it being a while back.

so slowly, he creeps his way into woojin's heart. acting as the soft boy he is, calling him 'hyung' and being a straight up kiss up. but not in an obvious way. woojin and him were able to hang out some days, woojin giving him extra lessons during lunch and chatting for a while about random things.

as the period for choir starts, jeongin enters the classroom and smiles. seeing woojin, he waves. "hyung!! hi!!" he yells, everyone smiles. jeongin was the sun of the classroom, literally. his smile blinded everyone.

woojin separates each sectionals music sheets, he waves back shortly and smiles at the boy as well. "hey innie. you ready for today?"

"yep! as always, I'm really liking the new song. the harmony is stuck in my head."

woojin nods in agreement, "it's stuck in mine too. once the choir gets into perfecting each part, I bet it'll sound great."

"I bet so too. but are you able to give me lessons during lunch today? for one of our songs I believe I'm not improving that well like the others."

woojin clicks his tongue, putting a hand to his hip he squints his eyes a bit. "well, I really needed to study for this ap psychology quiz with my friends.."

"o—oh..it's fine.."

woojin pouts, "well you want to come with? I bet they'll be fine with it."

"are you sure?" jeongin asks for reassurance, "I don't want to disturb you guys.."

"don't worry! chan and minho are friendly. they'll gladly accept you with open arms."

jeongin's eyes widen, a smile then creeps onto his face slowly. channie? "o—okay! I'll be there then."

"cool! meet me in the library because we reserved a study room. alright?"

jeongin nods his head slowly, "alright.."
