I remember lying down under the big oak tree in the middle of the park. The autumn leaves fell down on my shoulders, shrouding me in yellow, orange and red. One loose leaf drifted on my notebook; I picked it up, admiring it before blowing it off into the wind. I looked up into the sun, a huge smile on my face before observing the surrounding trees and playground. It was such a beautiful day, full of vibrant colours and happiness. I scanned the environment, blissful and peaceful. It was such a calming atmosphere, my dress hanging loosely off of me, my legs outstretched and relaxed. I was at peace until a dark, angry figure disrupted the wondrous scene, jogging through carelessly.

I stared at him, curious as to what caused this dark and overwhelming presence. He was a tall, muscular man with a mop of dark, curly hair with cleanly shaven sides on his head. He was dressed completely in black and had a tan; perhaps he was European. I tried peeling my eyes away from him, but I couldn't; I was obsessed with his domineering figure and wanted him to notice me. He glanced over a few times, annoyed at my continuous stares. Every part of me begged to look away but I didn't. I wanted to challenge him. I wanted his attention.

Eventually, the man made his way towards me. I didn't dare move or flinch, as he made his way up to me. I didn't break his gaze, knowing that I didn't fear him. I stood up as he approached me; he was angry, and I could feel it radiating it off his hot and sweaty body.

'Do we have a problem señorita?' He growled, only centimetres apart from his body. I felt like I was going to faint.

'What makes you say that?' I hissed back at him, staring him in his twilight eyes.

'You haven't stopped staring at me' The shadow said, taking a step forward, his body towering over me.

'Couldn't help but notice your angry presence' I spat back, shaking. My whole body trembled, as I pushed back against the oak tree for support.

I thought for a minute he was going to crack and do something unthinkable to me. Instead, to my surprise, he let out a devilish chuckle before outstretching his muscular arm over my shoulder and against the tree behind me.

'I'm Gabriel Reyes' he purred in my ears.

'You think I care?' I hissed back, bravely, trying to antagonise him further.

'Bebé, you're going to regret letting those words slip from your pretty little mouth later' Gabriel chuckled staring deep into my eyes, using a thumb to stroke my lips gently.

I felt myself going red, overwhelmed by his charm and feeling myself getting aroused. I didn't answer him. I had no words. I knew he could feel it too. He didn't speak for a few moments before he leaned in and closed the gap between us, kissing me. He was gentle at first, feeling my soft lips before spreading them apart and pushing his tongue against mine. He explored every part of my mouth, appreciating every angle of it. He kissed me just enough before pulling away, leaving me wanting more...

He smiled, knowing I was in his complete control, before kneeling down and picking up my notebook and pen. He tore a piece of paper, scribbled down his number and shoved it in my small hand.

'I'll pick you up at 7. Don't be late' Gabriel instructed. I nodded obediently.

'Good' he said, stroking my chin. I thought he was going to kiss me again, but he pulled away, smirking, and sprinted off back into the park.
