You hung your head in shame as you passed the Shimada castle, where the brothers Genji and Hanzo once lived. You could barely look at it, as guilt flooded through you, reliving your actions you had committed all those years ago.

It was just one kiss, one regretful kiss after he had left. You were young and too caught up in the fight to truly process your deepened feelings towards him. You closed your eyes, as you remembered fighting with him, words being used as knives, that you would eventually use to stab him in the back with his brother.

You sighed, as you ran your hands through the bars of the gate, your fingers flicking through them like long forgotten memories.

It was your first time and Genji had been so sweet and gentle with you. He had given you a locket with his and your name engraved in gold, promising you a future.

You made love that night, the fire crackling in his room, as the flames burned bright like your affection for him. You cried as your hymen tore, blood dripping between your legs, as he promised that he would look after you. He looked down at you, confusion and hurt spreading across his face.

'Do you love me?' Genji asked, stroking your face, desperately trying to find a reason as to why you both had just lost your virginities to the other if the love was unrequited.

You remained silent, as you became unresponsive to his touch. You couldn't bring yourself to look at him, as he pulled away, dressing himself, trying to mask his pain but it was transparent.
