You had heard about him in newspapers. You were warned by your family and friends. You knew that he was dangerous, but as soon as you laid your eyes on Gabriel Reyes, you knew that you wanted him.

You were in the library, studying with your younger sister. You liked to compete with each other, knowing that whoever received a higher score would be favored by your parents whereas the other would simply be neglected. You had always managed to win, but she was getting better. This fact put you on edge, you didn't like being outdone. You were the highest achiever in your family and you would work twice as hard for it to stay that way.

You were deep in your books, studying human anatomy, that you didn't notice the shadowy figure slip in between the shelves. Your sister noticed him first, her mouth dropping open. You looked up at her, confused as to what had garnered her attention.

'What is it?' you whispered, before she pointed a finger in his direction.

There he was, dressed head to toe in black. It was Gabriel Reyes, also known as the Reaper. Your entire neighborhood had been warned of his destruction and chaos that he had caused. You were taught to be afraid of him, but there was something about him that was stopping you from running to the door.

You and your sister were the only people in the library that evening. You watched as Gabriel made his way up to the librarian, placing a long finger at his lips, before slipping him an envelope of money.

The librarian nodded before pointing in your direction. Gabriel shot a glance over to your table.

'Leave us' Gabriel growled at the librarian. He nodded before, dangling his keys and walking towards the front entrance. He stepped out of the building, locking you, your sister and Gabriel in the building.

You and your sister sat there, almost in a trance-like state, as you both tried processing what was happening. Every morsel in your body begged you to grab your sister's arm and run, but you didn't move.

You looked up at your sister, who had started to shake out of fear. You were afraid Gabriel was going to come over and murder you. He was a known associate of Talon and had betrayed his former allies, hunting down the members of Overwatch. He was incapable of feeling remorse or guilt. He would have no problem slaughtering you both.

Gabriel Reyes slowly made his way over to the table you were studying at before slamming his fist down on the wood, making you both jump.

He reached out and stroked your face, forcing you to look up at him. You felt an electric spark flow through your body, fireworks exploding inside of you. You looked at his mask, unsure of whether he was going to slit your throat or snap your neck. You embraced and accepted this though, sinking deep into his touch. You felt yourself falling in love with him, yet, you didn't know him.

He let go of you before reaching over and taking your sister's face. He tipped her face up to meet his mask, and you saw her eyes. You knew she had fallen in love with him too. But, you wanted him more. Gabriel eventually let go of her face before standing nonchalantly between you both.
