I drove around in my 2019 Benz truck on my way to the punk-ass job I sell cars for a living among a little extra nobody know about because I don't want Tia ass worrying about me more than she already does speaking of Tia let me tell y'all how we met

It was 7th grade in middle school and I had just moved to California from Harlem and I hated it my dad sent me out here to live with my cousin because I was getting into too much "trouble" out there whatever the fuck that mean but anywho I bumped into this little pretty joint and I adored her the moment I laid eyes on her it's like she meant everything to me in that exact moment we clicked instantly and been attached ever since people still think to this day that we together but I swear we not that just my best friend

Me- yes baby

Tia- hey where you at I miss you

Me- I'm on my way to work ma

Tia- well call-off

Me- I can't baby you know that

Tia- David don't do that you always call off when I ask

Me- I understand that but I can't today he needs me

Tia- are you kidding me Dave

Me- listen here ima see you as soon as I get off but you gone have to kill the attitude

I made it to work and I don't even feel like being here I should have called off man damn I got out of my car and hit the lot

I walked right past him so I could get to the customer

Ughhh he is taking forever to get here it's annoying

Brandy- girl that man at work leave him alone

Me- Girl shut up I need him here

Brandy- trust me I know y'all can't go a day without seeing each other it's sick, yall might as we'll be together

Me- why I gotta be with him because I like being around my bf all the time

Brandy- girl if that's what y'all call it

I and Brandy have been real close friends seriously like a sister since pre-school we both born and raised in Cali we both meet my other close friend Ki in high school I have a sister that's two years younger than me Kim I love that girl to death. Her and Dave close as hell so he treats her like that's his daughter lol

My mom and dad are married and they practically took Dave in when he came down here he had a room and everything at my house I know we love on each other pretty hard that's cause we been through so much together since middle school to now us graduated.

He works at a car dealership I do hair and going to school to be a cosmetologist and Dave's helping me open up a shop out here

Me- yes that's what we call it I haven't seen him in two days due to our schedules

Brandy- when you gone get it

Me- get what brandy

Before she could respond we heard the front door open

Dave- I'm here baby

I ran and jumped on him kissing all over his face

Me- I missed you I haven't seen you in two days

He let me down

Dave- I know love that's my fault I missed yo ass too I had to get into some legs

I rolled my eyes hard as fuck but I don't even know why

Brandy- smirked and whispered in my ear is that jealousy I see

Me- girl please of what

Brandy- well alright y'all I'll get at y'all later I gotta go

Dave- alright B tell that nigga Don hit my up if he tryna lose that money in a D game

Brandy- hell no Dave you took all his money last time fuck no

I and Dave was laughing so hard

Tia- he need not play if he doesn't know how now

Brandy- I be telling his hard head ass that. I'm out.

I locked the door after watching brandy get in her car

Me- what bitch you was with I said while putting ketchup on my fries

we sat on the couch

Dave - you so nosey girl you don't know her

Me- so what man tell me

Dave- cakes no, if I ain't serious with them than I'm not telling you about them

Cakes is the nickname he gave me in middle school

Me- so that's how we playing it

He started rubbing my feet to shut me up he already know I love this shit

We both started watching tv

Me- oh I have like 3 clients hair to do tomorrow

Dave - that's good cakes so what they getting done

Me- fox locs, sew-in, and silk press I started to cough I'm getting tired

Dave-you getting to it did you take yo medicine cakes

I sighed

Me- Dave, do not start, please

Dave - Nah you do not start where it's at I'll go get it, stop playing around with the shit

Me- in the upstairs bathroom

He left to go get it

When I was 12 I was diagnosed with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which is a lung disease that blocks airflow and makes it harder for me to breathe but as long as I take my medications every day and go to therapy I am fine most of the time sometimes it can get bad
