It's been a solid six weeks since Tia and I been around each other. Six weeks since I seen her, touched her, or even heard her voice outside of old videos I keep replaying like a damn fool. I know I messed up—bad. I let something happen that should've never gone that far, and I can't take that shit back.
Mya? She don't look better than Tia. Don't touch me the same. Hell, she don't even suck me like Tia—and that's facts, 'cause I can't even remember what it felt like. That whole night was a blur I wish never happened. I don't got no excuse, none worth saying anyway. I should've never met up with her in the first place, even if it was supposed to be about Kairi. That was my first mistake.
Tia's four months pregnant now, and I miss her. I miss being near her. I miss her belly, our late-night talks, her attitude, all that. I miss being around my family. I've been trying to give her space, trying not to blow her up too much—but shit, it's killing me.
Today is JJ's birthday party, though, and I know we're both gonna be there. That's the first time I'll see her in person since everything went down. I don't know how she's gonna act, but I know one thing—I'm showing up. I got to. I need to see her, even if it's just for a minute.

It was going on 3:00, and I had JJ's gifts packed in my car. I dropped off his big toy car for him to drive last night. I got him some clothes, jewelry, shoes—just like I did for Corey—and some new games.
I finished getting dressed and made my way to my Jeep, smoking my second blunt.
