I walk out of my room and head towards pidges room. I want to go see what she was tinkering with now. I walked into her room to see her not there.

Huh. Were is she?

"Pidge?" I walked up to her bathroom door and knocked on it. No answer. I tried to open it.

Locked?

That's when it hit me like a truck. I started banging on the door and yelling her name.

"Pidge! open the Door!" I threw my body onto the door to open it. The door came crashing down. There lies pidge, pale and cold. I feel her neck for a pulse. By now everyone is watching this happen.

"Hey I feel a pulse! Wait, that's mine, no wait thats hers! She's alive! I'm alive! We are all alive!" I shouted.

"Get her into a pod!" Coran shouted.

I stood in front of the pod pidge was in, silently crying.

Why hadnt I noticed earlier? She told me how latley shes been depressed.

I sat down next to the pod and began thinking.

Why cant she realize we love her? Shes the smartest person I have ever met. We love her, her parents love her, I- I love her.

I stood us to go find Coran. Luckily he was not to far. I asked him how long pidge should be in the pod.

"Ah well she should be in there for one, what do you call it?, day?" Coran stated.

"Yes it is day, thank you, Coran." I walked back to my room to grab a pillow and blanket for my self. I stationed myself right in front of her pod. My eyelids became droopy after a while and I dozed off.

I woke up to a wrrrring sound and I shot right up. Just at that exact moment pidge fell right into my lap.

"Huh? Lance?" she looked confused. Then she remembered what had happened. She began to cry as she hugged me. I Hugged her back and cried to. We sat there for a while, in each others arms, when I finally spoke up.

"Pidge, let me help you, you dont have to talk or anything at all. I just want you to know Im here. We will find your familly. I know it. I promise to you-" she cut me off before I finished.

"Lance, you cant promise that." She had no hope. No hope what so ever.

"I can and I will. I Lancelot Charles McClain promise you Katie Paige Holt that we will find your family."

"Why do you care so much?"

"Because... Because I love you Katie." Her face lit up when I said that.

"I love you too!"

Then she kissed me.
