Messed up

Well I have done messed up.

The ground swayed from under my feet. I tried to blink it away but it would not work. My hand lifted and set itself on the sink next to me trying to keep my balance.

I slid down the wall and sat next to the toilet. The spinning in my head wouldn't stop. I tried to apply pressure to my cuts as hard as possible but I cut a little to deep this time.

The edges of my eyes darkened and it was hard to focus on anything. A slight ringing in my ears started, soft at first, then unbearably loud.

I looked at the rag covering my arm, it was covered in blood. I grabbed a nother one from under the sink.

I faded in and out of darkness. This happened for a couple of hours, then I fully fell asleep, covered in my blood. I woke up to pounding on my door.

"I'll be out in a second I'm- uh- in the shower!" I yelled. The knocking stopped and I heard foot steps echoing away in the hall way.

I got up as quick as possible but felt extremely light headed. I used the counter to balance.

My arm burned like I set it on fire. I looked down and a scar was forming over it, but one wrong move and I would open it all over again.

I glance over at the time, 7:45 in the morning. I'm late for training! I scramble and get all my training gear on and I snatch my bayard while rushing out of the door.

-time skip to when he gets there-

"Well well look who decided to show up," Keith says annoyed.

"Sorry- I uh- don't have a good excuse," I try to push away the memories from last night.

Training begins and it all starts out fine. I am getting a good count on soldiers I have taken down and the team seemed okay with me for once.

Soon we became overwhelmed by the robots and it was a struggle to keep up, considering how much blood I lost last night and my raging head it seemed okay to me.

A robot knocked me down and I fell right on my arm, the arm. My eyes widened, and, at first, I didn't feel anything. Then I looked down to see blood dripping down my finger tips, and on to the floor.

I looked up to see Keith standing over me. He was saying something but I couldn't hear. I was to focused on putting pressure on my arm.

He cradled me and start talking, talking quite fast. The others didn't even care and just left, Keith knew something was wrong when I didn't get up earlier.

His eyes teared up a bit and his hair was all messed up. He was still in his armor, but he took his helmet off.

"Lance. Oh God. I-"

I couldn't seem to focuse on his voice at all. My vision became blurrier and my headache somehow got worse.

I caught one thing come off of his lips,

I love you.
