I'm finally getting better

I took down bots left and right. I was training with the team and I was taking down most of them.

The level ended and the system chimed in and said level 21 was over with. I caught my breath and looked around. Did they notice my progression?

"Lance you did really good!" Hunk told me. I took off my helmet and smiled.

"Thanks man!" I replied.

"Hey Lance you have been getting alot better with close and far range battle it is nice to see your growth." Shiro praised me.

"That mans a lot to me, thanks Shiro."

Woah. Woah... I can't believe it. I am finally living up to there standards.

"Hey Lance it is time for lunch." Pidge took me out of my thoughts. I smiled and walked after them.

I sat down and we talked a little. Wow a whole conversation with out them yelling at me.

Time skipppp----

Lunch was over and I walked back to my room. Usually they would hang out and want nothing to do with me.

"Hey lance! Do you want to hang out with us? We are going to play a game of truth or dare."

"Oh okay." I answered. Am I dreaming? Are they actually including me?

I walked  with Keith to the living room. They sat in a circle ready to play. I sat down and Shiro started.

"Pidge truth or dare?" He asked.

"Dare!" She said bravely.

"I dare you to.....drink water upside down!" He laughed at the thought.

She stood up to go grab a glass of water. She did it and water splattered everywhere.

"Keith. Truth or dare," asked Pidge.

"Hmmm, truth..."

"Do you actually have purple eyes or are they contacts?" Queried pidge.

"They are real, my mother had purple eyes too." Keith said. He looked over at me. Everyone else moved in closer to listen.

"Truth or dare?~" The words rolled off his tongue so eloquently.

I gulped, "Truth..."

"Tell me about the past...."

I woke up in a cold sweat. The covers were thrown off the bed. I sighed deeply. Tears form in my eyes, again?

Another fucking dream.
