Interlude IV

"YOU, YOU LEFT ME," tears poured down my face as I angrily yelled.

"YOU DISAPEARED. I COULDNT SURVIVE WITH OUT YOU. AFTER ALL WE WENT THROUGH YOU JUST LEFT." I wrapped my arms around myself to try to comfort myself.

"Come on, this is finsihed." Keith sighed and looked away.

"Oh is that so true? So you can just up and leave half way through a battle? No goodbyes? Not a single word? Then you expect me to forgive you?" The coldness deep in my heart rolled of my tongue, so  foreign to me.

"Let's just go home, Lance."

"NO THIS ISNT FINSIHED."

"Yes it is! Hes gone Lance!" Keith shouted back at me.

Vivid images came into my head of the battle field less than 20 minutes ago. It was a normal battle. Lotor was helping us out.

Something was off though. He didnt seem right.

Then the alarms went off in the building we were infuriating.

He put us here. In the trap. I did what I had to. I-

"Lotor knew he was going to lose! He practically committed suicide Lance! He was begging you to do it!"

"YOU LET ME KILL HIM, YOU GAVE ME THE ORDERS."

"You did what you had to." He gave me a side eye.

"SO I CAN BLAME YOU FOR THIS PAIN? THIS GUT WRENCHING FEELING?"

"No!" He shouted tears forming in his eyes.

"I have to go..." I turned to walk but Keith grabbed my arm with his death grip. I looked at my arm worried about the cuts on them. He was staring into my eyes.

"And let you do what I know you were going to do?" He tightened his grip on my arm. I winced at the cuts reopening.

"I saw your notes Lance."

"No you didn't." I growled and ripped my arm away from him.

"You are filling your heart with hate and war!" Keith yelled.

"WELL YEAH THATS ALL THERE IS NOW."

"You are acting like Lotor! He let these types of things go to his head Lance!"

"Yeah well that wont matter once I'm done."

"Lanc-"

"The show is about to start, dont be late Keith."
