I lay there in this field filled with her favorite flowers. It's a sunny day the wind is calmly moving. The flowers swaying.

I stare up into the clouds of her home planet. I let out a heavy sigh.

Allura, I miss you.

Tears formed in my eyes as I turn my head to see her flowers. Why am I here. Why do I torture my self by having her everywhere?

I pick one from the ground and smell it. I held it to my chest thinking of all our memories.

She always wanted to see this. Now she never will.

Tears are spilling from my eyes. Just thinking about my eyes makes me think of her. What she gave me. The Altean marks.

My hand made it's way one to my face tracing were it was at. I shut my eyes trying not to think about it. Trying to shut it all out. Nothing is working. She will forever be in my heart.

My stomach rumbled. I slowly got up and dried my tears. I let the flower fall to the ground. I walked back to my house.

"Hey Lance! Just in time for lunch!" My mom said enthusiastically.

"T-thanks Mom."

She gave me a weird look. She knows I only stutter when something's wrong.

I grab a slice of bread from the kitchen and some peanut butter. I walk back out to go into the forest.

-------

I sit on a tree branch about 12 feet up from the ground. I spread some peanut butter on the bread. I eat it while looking around this place. I had never been in this part of the woods.

I feel wind whoosh past me. My hair slightly moving. I cooked my eyes to try to keep this beautiful moment. The something ruined it. It was my name being called. It was barely a whisper.

Lance.

It took me a moment to realize.

"ALLURA?!"

I looked around franticly. Tears filled my eyes. I climbed down the tree. My knees fell onto the floor.

"Allura please if you are really there. Please?" I was sobbing now. I tried wiping my tears but they kept coming.

Dont be that way. Fall apart twice a day.

I slowly calmed down. Tears weren't coming as fast now. I decided I will walk back to the house and if anyone asks about my eyes are red I'll just blame it on allergies or something in my eye.

I walk in the door way then into the kitchen. I see my mom baling.

"Hey mama?"

"Yes lance?"

"Have you ever... heard a ghost? Er or uh like heard someone who has past way?"

"Hmmmm I dont think I have.... You know though in the bible when samuel is called by God he doesnt listen at first because he didnt know what to do. So next time he heard God he replied with 'yes I am listening' and God spoke. Try doing this next time hijo." She smiled.

"Thanks mama."

I walked back to the same spot where I first heard Allura. I prepared myself for her to speak. Next time I hear it i didnt want to break down.

She never came that day though. Still my hopes were up. Each day I kept going back waiting. It has been 7 days now and I am starting to lose hope now. On the 8th day she finally spoke to me again.
