Loverboy lance

I sat in Hunks room cheering him up after he felt home sick. He said he doesnt want to worry his family. I get that.

"Hey I know it's hard. I mean we are saving the universe after all. However, I know we can make it through. We have this." I give him a big bear hug and he returned it too.

"Thank you lance. It's just sometimes I forget my place."

Man, so do I.

"That's okay." We sat in silence for a minute before he said he should start making lunch. We both walked out and headed in different directions.

I headed towards my room to grab my suit so I can train. Once I have it on I walk out into the hall way and stroll to the training deck.

When I got there I heard grunting coming from inside. I took a peek and saw Keith all ragged and beat up. I slipped in and watched for a bit.

He sliced the last robot. I started clapping loudly for him to notice. He looked over and said a 'hi'.

Just as he was about to call out the next level I said ", oh no you dont."

"Keith, you need to rest for a little. All the work you are putting on your body is not good."

"I'm fine let me train, Lance."

"Here what if you wait 2 hours. Just enough to eat and shower and maybe even take a nap. Then you can train for a nother hour before dinner?" I tried to comprise with him. He thought about it for a minute.

"Yea. I guess that's good."

I walked him to his room then left. By the time I even got back there It was lunch time.

I sit at the table in my spot. Everyone was usually quiet. We just sat while we ate. I was the first to speak up.

"Hey everyone, is everything okay? I just noticed everyone is unusually quiet." I stood up and put my hands on the table. They looked amongst themselves and found I was true. I looked at each one of them hoping someone would answer.

"Sorry lance, I guess we have all been a bit on edge." Allura spoke up first. The group nodded their heads in agreement.

"Oh okay." I sat down and picked at my food more. I asked if I could be excused and they said yes. Before I left I said ", if any of you need anything,  and I mean anything, I'm here." And I left.

I sat in my room for a while. It was around 5:30 when I realized I had been there for around 4 hours.

I got up from my bed to see what everyone was up to.

I walked down the hall to pidges room . I knocked on the door softly.

"Hello?" I hear her call out.

"Hey Katie it's me. I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out for a while?"

"Yes sure I guess"

I opened her door to find her on her bed typing away on her computer. I walked over and sat next to her.

"Whatcha doin?" I asked looking at her computer.

"Oh just trying to find Matt and my father. " she stated causally. I could see the tiredness in her eyes.

"Pidge?" I put my hand on her computer and lowered the screen so it shut down ", you know it is okay to take a break right?" She looked at me her eyes watering.

"I know I know. I really want to find them. Scratch that I need to find them" I set her computer to the side of the bed and hugged her. I know when every she's sad she loves to be cuddled.
