Coran pov

I watched all of the paladins arrive on the atlas in pretty bad condition. They had bruises all over them. They all filed in a single line. I was waiting for allura I want to congratulate her that she has finished her and her fathers life work.

When they all came in i notice there was no allura.

"Hey guys? Wheres Allura?" I inquired. That's when lance broke down crying. He fell to his knees and sobbed his hands cover his face and the picture of allura and him on the floor. That's when it all hit me.

Did... did allura die? I looked up at the paladins again hoping I was wrong hoping she was standing behind shiro or hunk. I was hopeful. But all of that hope died when Shiro gave me this look.

Keith had now helped Lance up and bring him back to his room. Pidge, Hunk, and Shiro all stood there as if they could not believe this was happening. Me? I didnt believe it was happening either.

That's because it didn't. Allura is still here she just quickly went into her room. She's tired that's all.

I practically ran to her room searching for her. I looked on her bed. Not there. Bathroom. Nope. I searched everywhere when I finally gave up and sat in the middle of the floor.

How? Why? I slowly picked my self up from the floor and walked to Shiro's room.

When I got there I knocked on the door softly. At first I didnt even think he could hear me but he did because he opened the door.

His eyes were red, just like mine, and he had bags under them. Too much crying has happened today.

"Did- did allura say goodbye to all of you?" He looked at the ground as if his feet became Interesting all of the sudden. He mumbled out a quiet yes.

"Did she tell you to tell me something?" My voice laced with hope.

Please?

"She didnt say anything about you..." he looked up at me with a sorrowful look as my expression faltered ", I'm so sorry Coran."

"Its okay" I lied. Nothing is okay. Allura is gone.
