Far to damaged

I sink deeper into the bathtub water. I let out a heavy sigh. I breathe in and push my self under. I hear knocking on the door but I ignore it. Next thing I know I feel someone pulling me up from the water. 

"Lance you were trying to kill yourself!" Keith said. 

"Was not." I replied. He grabbed a towel and I stood up and grabbed it. I wrapped my self in it. 

Alarms in the castle started going off. Keith ran to his room and I quickly got dressed. I raced towards my lion. I jumped in and flew out into battle. Tons of cruisers surrounded us. We blasted them left and right. 

"Form voltron!" Keith demanded. We got into formation and formed voltron. I took out the blade we started slicing the ships. An ion cannon basted us and we all got disbanded. Our lions floated in different directions. 

I tried powering on red but nothing happened. I looked down at the peddles and noticed blood running down my leg. I whispered fuck under my breath. 

Oh right no one can hear me. 

"FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK" I screamed as loud as I could. I put pressure on my wound. I was starting to get dizzy from blood loss. I passed out. 

I woke up out side of the red lion. A couple meters away at least. It looked like the landing wasnt so easy. I now had more cuts then before. 

Okay lets assess the situation. I am bleeding from multiple wounds. The red lion is down and I have no idea were I am or the others are. I took a look around,  It seems the planet has no resources too. 

I got up and winced in pain. I held my side as I got up. I limped over to my lion the pain almost unbearable. I finally made it over the red.

"Hey girl." I rested my hand on her head. She didn't power up.

"Its okay take your time." I sit down next to her leaning my back against her. I noticed my helmet next to her paw about an arms length away.

I reached other and touched with my fingers. So close. I pushed my body farther and got it.

I slid the helmet over my head and talked, "Hey guys? Is everyone okay?" nothing but static on the other end. 

Alright Lance what are things you need to survive? Food, shelter, water. 

Shelter can be the red lion. Now just food and water. I slowly get up keeping mind of my various wounds. I start walking away from the lion no particular direction. 

I had walked for a good 30 minutes before I found water. I ran, well more like fastly stumbled, to the water. I fell onto my knees. I took off my helmet then cupped my haves and splashed water in my face. I probably should have checked it and boiled it but I dont care. 

I took the plates off my armor then rolled up my left pant leg to a gash. I took some water and poured it on to it. It cleaned off the blood and it stung. I continued pouring water onto my wounds. Then I realized how far away I was from my lion I was and the sun(s?) were setting. 

Okay Lance all you have to do is call her. Also pray she is back online. 

I sat there thinking calling. It had been about 10 minutes and nothing happened. I sit there defeated. I lay down on the ground to tired to go back. I took my helmet and placed it over my head. 

"Guys please help..." I coughed up some blood. That hadn't happened before. 

"Please if anyone is there." I said more desperately this time. 

As the night dragged on the colder I got. I wrapped my arms around myself. I let out a shaky breath. Finally some point during the night I got a little sleep. I woke up in the morning and got up. My body was sore from the day before and I had a killer headache. I slowly walked back to red. I got there to notice the body print still left in the sand but shes gone. 

Would she really leave with out me?

I sat there for a while thinking of a plan. I decided to go out and find any edible food. It took my a good 30 minutes before I found anything, and even then it was some berries. 

It has been well over a month now of me surviving the harsh, cold, nights. I have been doing pretty good. I have been keeping myself sane by talking to myself and inanimate objects. Finally one day when I was venturing out I found a village. Luckily they were very nice and welcomed me. 

"Lance," the king spoke, "we found an old distress sender we figured you could use it to find the other paladins." Right away I told it from his hands. I pressed it and it lit up. 

About a day or two passed by then we finally heard back. They said they will come and it should take them about 3 days. I teared up at hearing Allura's voice. I missed them so much. I got everything packed and waited. 

At dawn of the 3rd day I walked out side and waited in the middle of the city. Soon the paladins came. They practically jumped out of their lions when they saw me. I started crying pretty hard. I  ran up to them and gave them each a huge hug. Keith looked shocked. 

"Lance..." he spoke, "we-I-" he turned to look at the other paladins furiously. 

"I told you he was out there! I told you hE COULD MANAGE BUT YOU ALL TOLD ME HE IS TO MUCH OF A GOOFBALL WELL HE IS HERE NOW THRIVING TOO!" He yelled about half way through he started crying. 

"Lance Im so sorry I should have never stopped." Keith said to me. I felt hurt they stopped looking for me but... I understand...

"Hey its okay. Lets go back home." When they got back they explained to me how they picked up the lion but didn't see me so they left. I settled back into my room. Everything with them has been weird. They don't look at me the same. They all avoid talking to me. 

I walked into the living room where everyone was. They were talking but soon as I stepped in the room they stopped talking. I sat down and looked at my feet as if something interesting was going on with them.

"Guys," tears filled my eyes as I spoke," why? Why do look at me different?" They looked at each other cautiously.

"We...thought you died..... I told them you did.... I-Im so sorry Lance! I did not know I swear!" Allura cried out. They all equally looked just as sad. Allura was sobbing, pidge was crying into hunks shoulder, hunk was crying too.

"Its okay. I understand." I lied. I lied to clearly. I dont understand at all. My foot prints where there. The plant was sand and water. My foot prints were there. Why did Allura want me gone so badly?

I walked away and then into my room. I shut the door and locked it. My back hit the door and I slid down slowly. Tears pored out of my eyes on to my shirt. I buried my head into my knees and let it all out. I tried to not make any noise but it made no avail. 

Am I that unwanted? That damaged? 

I stood up and unlocked the door. I didn't care if they saw me like this anymore. I strolled to the ejecting room. First Keith followed me asking questions such as if I am okay and things like that. I did not reply back but just continued walking. Soon the others were following me to. I finally made it to the room yet no one noticed what it was. I stood in side and smiled. 

"Lance what are you doing?" Keith asked he stepped inside unknowingly. 

"I am damaged. Far beyond repair."

"W-what?" 

"Step back please. More, Keith." I walked with him then I pushed him out. The doors sealed shut after he left. He looked at me with a horrified face. Tears filled his eyes. My finger pressed the button. I was sucked out into the abyss.
