I Love you, Keith

I love you, Keith.

It was supposed to be a simple mission. How did it end up like this?

"Guys! There's more galra ships coming! Their not stopping!!!" I shouted at them. I was shooting fighters in the red lion left and right but, they are not stopping. They keep coming faster.

Each of us had taken multiple hit's. Everyone was shouting in the comms but it sounded messy and no one could understand each other.

We had to retreat from the attack because we were clearly going to lose. Once we got back to the ship we discussed why we lost the battle.

Pidge mumbled something about the me not keeping up. Soon the rest of them agreed.

"Lance couldn't keep up. That's why we lost. " Allura spoke. Every one started to insult me, forgetting I was there in the first place.

Just before i left i heard Allura say ",why is he even a paladin.?"

Holding back tears I retreat back to my room.

I want to go back to earth. I miss my familia. I want to see my hermano and hermana's. In order to do that I need to train.

I have been training for a couple of hours now. I'm on level 20 which is pretty good considering I was at level 10 when I started. I was about to start the next the level when I heard Keith call out my name.

"Hey Keith! What are you up to?" He looked at me strangely.

"Are you okay you have been training for a while, you have multiple wounds. Dont they hurt?" He tilted his head as he asked if the wounds hurt.

Of course they hurt dumb dumb.

"They dont hurt there just a couple cuts and scrathes." I scanned by body over looking at them. Oh wow this is more than usual. I should be okay though.

"Are you sure you are okay, Lance?"

"I'm extravagant." I lied straight through my teeth. He then told me he wanted to train for a while so I left to go to room.

Soon as I got there I locked the door and broke down in tears.

God damn it I love you, Keith. Why can't I tell you.

I got in the shower not even bothering to look in the mirror. I scrubbed down my body washing off the dried blood.

Once I got out I cleaned and sterilized the wounds I got durning training. After that I got changed into my normal attire and went to dinner.

"Hey guys!" I shouted putting on my usual persona. Every one mumbled a quick hello and stared off into their own world. Hunk started serving the food he prepared for us. It was goo, like usual, but I made a comment on how he always delivers.

"Lance?"

"Yes Hunk?"

"Do you ever shut up?" He growled out in a harsh voice. Hunk, my best friend in the whole universe, just asked me if I ever shut up.

"W-well I... I- guess- maybe- um" I couldn't put the right words together to form a sentence.

"Lance, just take the fucking hint. Stop talking." When ever Hunk swore that ment he means business. I shut my mouth and looked down at my shoes as if they suddenly became interesting.

"Hunk, that is no way to talk to a nother paladin let alone friend." Keith stated sternly.

Keith's defending me?

After every one at some of the space goo I excused myself from the table. Old habits die hard. I heard foot steps behind me so I turned around to see who it was. It was Keith.

"Hey thanks for doing what you did during dinner. That was nice of you. However you dont need to do it. And you did need to come out here and tell  me Hunk was right-" I got cut off my rant from a kiss.

Keith is kissing me? Am I dreaming?

"Lance, I defended you because, well because I love you, lance."

He loves me? Woah.

"I love you too keith! I've been waiting to say  that for so long."

"Do you want to spend the night in my room tonight?"

"Hell yeah I do"

As we walked to keith's room we held hands. When we got there we fall asleep in each other arms not caring about changing. 

I woke up in a cold sweat. Oh fuck. Or was a dream wasn't it. Good damn it again?! No it can't be. I pulled up my shirt. No injuries.

It was another fucking dream.
