My chapters are based on my moods. So, if I'm happy then the chapter will be better. If I'm sad or angry, then the chapter won't be as good. I write how I feel, so regardless of this chapter I hope you all enjoy it!

"Marriage is a terrifying thing."

"How? Not everyone see's marriage as terrifying or a disaster. It depends on how the two people can handle every situation to make it better every day."

I watched as this guy and girl in class were arguing about marriage. Their arguments both had strong points, but the way it's going, only one is going to be satisfied with winning.

"Miss White, you were once married. How did that work out? Obviously it didn't work out." The guy asked.

I looked to the front as Emma was standing there watching them. I knew she wouldn't tell them the truth, so I was anxious to know what she was going to say.

"Not all marriages fail. Like Catherine said, it depends on how the two spouses work things out. Me and my partner did not work things out, therefore we divorced." She looked around the room and caught my eyes.

To think that I know everything about what really happened and nobody else has a clue.

"All I'm saying is that marriage is crap."

"Your opinion is crap." Catherine spat back. "Guy's never want to get married because they're afraid of commitment. They'd rather sleep with every girl than get into a committed relationship."

I heard a few people oo's and I chuckled as I looked over at Kaylee. "What do you think about this?"

"They both have good points. I mean, everyone has different opinions on marriage. Some are right and then there's the other people who think differently." She shrugged.

I nodded as I looked back at them as they were still arguing. I wasn't sure on how long they could go on for, but Emma wasn't doing anything about it.

She was standing there watching them and I couldn't understand why.

"Who thinks marriage is a waste of time?" The guy asked as he looked around at everyone.

I watched as nobody raised their hand. The guy just shook his head and the girl smiled at him. "Nobody is going to agree with you, dumbass."

"Ok, let's stop." Emma finally said. "I'm going to pass out some assignments and I want you all to try to finish them before class ends."

She walked around as she was handing out the papers. When she got to me, she handed Kaylee and I one then spoke. "See me after class, Dakota."

After she had walked away, Kaylee leaned over towards me. "What's that about?"

I shrugged as I had no idea why Emma wanted to see me after class. I knew it couldn't be bad so I wasn't really worried.

The paper she gave us was a few questions based on what she was teaching us. I guess she just wanted to see if we have been paying attention in her class or not.

I was already doing so much better in every class and I was happy about that. We had to get so many credits before the quarter ended, then enough credits to graduate when it was time.

We still had a few months before we graduate and I wasn't about to slack off and lose everything that I worked hard for.

When class ended, I stood up with Kaylee then told her that I would see her later. I wanted to come over to her house and hang out and I knew her mom wouldn't mind.
