The week flew by. Literally flew like a bird on caffeine.

There wasn't much happening that week anyways. After that encounter with Mrs. White, she hardly spoke to me. It was as if I caused her to act that way when all I did was ask if she was ok after being yelled at by that man.

But she did pull me aside one afternoon as I was on my way back to class and told me to not speak about what happened that one night.

I didn't really know what she meant because it wasn't as if I was going to go tell someone.

It wasn't my business anyways.

Although I did tell Kaylee. She freaked out and wanted more details, but I could only tell her what I knew.

She told me that made Mrs. White a lot more interesting than she already was, and she wanted to find out about that night.

I told her to leave it alone because she was going to get us in trouble if she kept snooping around someone else's live.

She ignored everything I said, of course.

As for Mrs. White, I obeyed her orders to not mention it and that was the last time she really talked to me the whole week.

I didn't give it much thought, at least not acted like I cared too much. I was still very curious on what was going on that night, and everything else that has to do with Mrs. White.

It's as if everyday is just another mystery to her that I'm wanting to figure out.

Kyle and Scarlett called an hour ago and said that they wouldn't be here until later on that night. They had something going on, so they couldn't come as early as I wanted them to.

I told them that it was fine and I understood their situation. Although I really don't because I hardly know what's going on in their lives anymore.

As for me, I'm just being lazy today. Since it was Saturday there wasn't anything to do, and Kaylee was busy with her mom so we couldn't hang out.

I don't mind being by myself but since it's just me and I'm alone with my own thoughts, I couldn't help but think about Mrs. White.

This is why I hate being alone.

Sometimes I wish that I had someone, but other times I'm happy being single.

As I was sitting on my couch, looking through my phone, I heard someone knock on my door. I got up to answer it and when I opened the door, I saw Will standing there smiling.

"Hey, Dakota. I was just in the parking lot wondering if you would want to hang out."

I watched him for a moment as he was smiling at me and I couldn't help but smile back. "Sure, Will. Let me grab my shoes and I'll meet you outside."

I smiled as I shut the door then walked to the living room to slide my shoes on. After I made sure everything was where it was suppose to be, I grabbed my keys that were hanging up then walked out the door.

This would be a great time to forget about Mrs. White anyways.

After I locked the door, I walked over to Will. "So, what are we doing?"

He shrugged. "My mom gave me money to get out of the house, so I figured why not take a beautiful girl out to have some fun?"

I smiled over at him. "That's sweet, Will. I would love to go have some fun."

"Cool." He smiled. "My mom is letting me drive her car, so let me go grab the keys and I'll meet you there."

I nod as I watched him jog over to his apartment then I walked over to the car and waited for him. I looked around at the kids that were playing outside, and I smiled over at them as I watched them until I heard Will's voice.
