Chapter 19 - Battle of Shiganshina part 3

Emma's pov

The ape like titan was surely surprised at the sight of us two , the line of titans surrounded in the area were all down. It was only us and the Beast titan , we attacked the titan in a matter of seconds. It didn't have enough time to react before we started mutilating his body parts. Started with its hairy fingers , hands , arms , legs. Almost everything on its titan body , both Levi and I were covered in titan blood. A huge cut ran down my arm when I scraped it against the wall from when I fell. The Beast titan was too slow for the two of us , how we both worked together in unison to take down certain parts of the body was a mystery. We both were so focused on the mission and the victory that I completely forgot on the others on the inside of the wall. Right when we managed to eliminate all of his free able body parts , we aimed perfectly for his nape. The body of his titan was so mutilated , destroyed and hurt that the person inside didn't have enough energy to transform again. After all the job was done and the damage we had inflicted on the person was final , the two of us were met with a male. The blond hair and beard he had was littered in blood , no shirt but gray pants. The odd thing was the similar appearance he had to dad. My eyebrows fluttered into a confused expression , even with Levi's sword almost chocking him with it launched down his throat. " Your body is heavenly damaged after transforming into a titan , so you can't transform again while your busy healing. " His eyes scanned Levi's face before switching over to me , his eyes instantly landing on the steaming cut coming from my arm. 

Levi scanned his eyes to where he was looking , looking at the cut then pushed me behind his body. " Why do you keep looking at her like that! " Levi waited a minute then jabbed the sword even more towards his body , making it go threw his eyes , how disgusting. " Huh answer me! Don't you have any manners! " The hairs on my body stuck up , the goosebumps had shivered through my body. " Get down! " I pushed Levi and myself away from the man , falling off the perishing beast titan body as we both watched in horror. We managed to forget about the cargo holding titan , it snatched the Beast titan shifter and ran away in the blink of an eye. 

" Are you okay? " I asked , he glanced at me before standing up and running after the two that got away. " Kill them! All of you! " The rest of the huge titans all looked at us , we both stood in the bloodied field , widened eyes when the titans started running towards us.

Time skip 

" Why did you look like my father? " After Levi and I managed to get away from the hoard of titans , we both went over the wall. I instantly jumped off the top at the sight of Eren , the cargo titan running towards him. Eren looked pretty rough , the titan lines running across his face and his body was sluggish. " Are you Emma and Eren Yeager? " The man we managed to agonize earlier was slightly more human than before , his body parts steaming and growing back. " You two don't look anything like your father. " We both froze , staring up at the titan shifter and the cargo titan. " What? " He new are father , just h-how? Dad never spoke of a man like him. " I want you to believe me , I understand you. We were both victims of your father. You've been brainwashed by him. " Eren and I glanced at one another , what is he talking about? Who is he to be exact.  " F-father? " The blond haired man suddenly looked up , the steaming sight of Levi stood tall at the top of the wall. In seconds Levi jumped off the wall , ready to attack and finish the Beast titan once and for all. " Eren , Emma. Someday , I'll come and save you. " His last words echoed through my mind once he took off with the strange titan. " Give me your gas and blades , I"m going after him. " I started unhooking my gas and handing over all my blades to Levi , Eren doing the same thing , he must have more gas. A small cough brought me out of my focused state , my head turned , Armin. A burned , very very burned Armin. " Eren what happened! " I stood up on my legs , running over to Armin. " He's still breathing! Armin's breathing! " 

" Captain you have to give him the injection! " Eren yelled , I didn't seem to notice the fresh tears running down my face. Please , please we can't lose another. " We need to turn Armin into a titan so he could eat Bertholdt! " Bertholdt , the colossal titan they managed to take down was laid next to us. Body parts mutilated , bloody even. Levi soon took out the box that held the injection, a loud boom rang are ears when Mikasa showed up and shot a flare in the sky. Levi started handing over the box to Eren who was not so reluctant to take it from his hands. 
" Captain Levi , I finally caught up to you. " Us four turned to the figure , Floch , he's not dead. "Commander Erwin is critically injured , his stomach has been gouged out , even his organs have been damaged. He won't stop bleeding. I thought that injection might be able to help , what do you think? " I widened my eyes , the tears suddenly stopped falling. My breath stopped at the sudden request. " He's still alive. We're giving the injection to Erwin. " Eren , Mikasa and I were breathless , scared and angered at what he just said , we can't lose anymore family , we just can't. " You just said you'd use it on Armin! " Eren had said , he was close to Levi , eyeing the injection grasped in Levi's hand. " I'm choosing to keep alive the man who will save humanity. "

My hand slumped over my mouth , I sat there crying , small sobs left my mouth. " Do you three , have any idea of what your doing. That's Erwin , commander of the Survey Corps. You're telling me to sit there and let him die? " I closed my eyes , trying to hold back the tears that suddenly wouldn't stop. " Eren , stop letting your feelings bias you. "  I could hear their conversation , why are they fighting like this , there's not time! Their both dying , if they keep stalling then they'll both die! " My feelings? Why did you pause before deciding to hand over the injection. " I opened my eyes , Armin kept breathing slightly , rigid coughs shadowing out his ability to breath.  Eren still managed to keep a grip on the box , much as well as Levi. In a second , in the blink of an eye. Levi punched Eren , his body flying to the side. I stood up , in seconds before Mikasa flew over and tackled Levi to the floor , her sword held at his neck. " Mikasa stop! " I ran over to her , trying to pry the sword away from his neck. " Why! He's trying to kill Armin! " She pulled back , using her brute strength to push me back. Her elbow strike'd my chin , my body flew back , stumbling over my feet before I felt myself fall off the roof of the house and land on the ground. 

The air that filled my lungs suddenly vanished , my head hit to ground so hard that I could see the vision in my eyes vanish. My hearing disappearing slowly. " I have people I wish I could bring  back too. Hundreds of them. Ever since I joined the Survey Corps , I've had to say nothing but goodbyes. But you understand don't you? No matter who you meet , someday you're going to have to tell them goodbye. " Those words were the last thing I heard , my eyes shutting. A small tear running down my cheeks before my eyes shut. The last thing I seen was the bright blue sky. 

Sad isn't it? I was crying when writing the last part. Poor Armin and what Hanije sad had me in even more tears. ;-;
