Valentines Day Special

Emma's Pov

" So what should I get Captain Levi? I mean, I mean, I-i don't like him or anything! I just wanna show him how much I appreciate him! " I looked up at Petra, she hid her face behind her hands. a thin line of blush covered her cheeks. " A-are you gonna get him anything? " She stuttered out, should I even get him anything? " Uh I don' know, do people even get each other stuff for valentines day anymore? " She chuckled and threw her head back. " Yeah! I got Captain Levi a card and some of the really expensive black tea last year. "  I didn't know that scouts gave their superiors valentines. " She nudged me and laughed. " What about you huh? Have you ever received valentines? " She joked, I shook my head and blushed. " I get one from Eren, Mikasa, and Armin every year but none from anyone else. " Within a second Eren sat down beside me, along with Olou, Eld and Gunther. " What are we talking about! " Eren yelled, I rolled my eyes and laughed. 

" Oh, we're just talking about valentines day. " Olou started laughing within seconds. " Don't tell me your gonna get Captain Levi another Valentines! Last year he just threw yours away! " I looked over at Petra who just sunk down in her seat, in shame. " I just think it would be nice, you know? She muttered, poor Petra. " Oi! Stop sitting around you brats and go train! " Captain Levi had appeared from behind the kitchen counter, tea sat in his hands. " Yes, sir. " Everyone mumbled before leaving the scene and going outside. " Wanna practice combat with me? " Eren had asked, I looked over at him as we continued to walk out of the dining hall. " Sure, but just so you know, I ain't going easy! "

Both Eren and I chuckled in unison before charging at one another, he attempted to throw punches and kicks but they were easily blocked and dodged. I ended up pinning him to the ground between a few minutes, I fell to the ground and kicked his legs from beneath him. That caused me to pin him and laughed at his facial expression. " I win. " Eren got up with a groan and shooed me away. " What the hell Emma, I can never win! " I laughed it was quite funny to hear him so mad. " So Eren, what are you gonna get me for valentines day? " We both were sat on the ground, laughing and covered in dirt. " I don't know, don't you think we're too old for that now? " 

I snorted as I tried to hold back my small laughter, are we ever too old for love? " I don't think so? " Captain Levi had walked over to our grimy figures sat on the floor. " Emma you're filthy, go clean up then meet me in my office. Eren, go train with Eld, now. " We both scurried away from one another and soon went our separate ways. " What am I to be doing in your office? " Both Captain Levi and I walked side by side. " Tch clean my office of course. " I was always the one to clean his office, I knew it made Petra slightly mad because she used to do it. 

" You have 15 minutes to clean up, no more, if you are late that's extra training for you. " I nodded my head before entering my room, I grabbed my clothes and entered the bathroom to take a shover. After I cleaned the dirt off myself and got cleaned I got dressed and left the bathroom. I got dressed in a green sweater that had the scouting legion symbol on it and some black leggings with shoes. I had 2 minutes to get to Levi's office, I quickly got the supplies before taking off into a sprint to Levi's office. I managed to get to his office, out of breath and holding the bucket of supplies. I knocked on the door which resulted in Levi mumbling a small. " Come in. "  From the inside. " Uh, so where do you want me to start? " Levi pointed to the side of the shelf where a bookshelf was located. " If you don't mind me asking, what are you gonna do for valentines day? " He looked over at me from his paperwork before looking back down at it. " Tch, Valentine's day is pointless. I get one useless thing from Petra and that's it, there's no point. "

" Well, maybe this year is different. " I looked over at him and smiled, I continued to dust off and clean all of the stuff in the room before he dismissed me. Maybe I should get him something? 

Time skip - The next day 

I woke up before everyone else, I had quickly gone to the kitchen to get Levi's valentines gift. I made sure not to make such a mess and noise. I made Levi his favorite black tea and put a few pieces of toast on the tray. I made sure to act as quietly as I could and reached his office. I opened the door to his office and peaked my head inside, his office was empty but the sound of a running shower filled my ears. He must of have been taking a shower, I glanced over at the door before setting down the tray at his desk. I smiled down at the tray before leaving the room quietly.  

Levi had awakened for the day, he knew he had tons of paperwork and had to deal with the brats. Right after he had got changed in some comfy clothes, he left his room and went to his desk. " What the hell? " At his desk was a tray, toast and a cup of steaming hot black tea sat there. Although he didn't like cream in his tea, there was cream in the shape of a heart. A note sat there, he thought perhaps it was Petra's gift. He had received one every year since she had joined the squad. He picked up the small note card that wrote.

He couldn't help but smile at the small gesture, maybe he shouldn't hate this day after all.
