Chapter 8 -Missions and kisses

Emma's pov

" So Yeager you really haven't had your first kiss, lameee. " Jean said , Eren sat next to me in the mess hall. Captain Levi decided that it was best to eat with the rest of the scouts today so here we are , getting harassed by Jean. " Shut up horse face! " Eren said , he held his fist up ready to attack Jean. " How about you little Yeager? " Jean said while looking at me , I looked down to my lap trying to fix away everyone's gazes. " Awe that's cute , the twins never kissed anyone. I'd be more than happy to be your first kiss Emma. " I widened my eyes then slowly scooted more into Eren. Eren hugged me into his side and glared at Jean. " She is never having her first kiss with you pervert! " Jean glared at Eren in which Eren stood up and so did Jean. " You looking for a fight Yeager? " Jean said all up in Eren's face , soon enough they were arguing and ready to fight each other. I did what I normally do and grabbed Jeans arm before pulling it and flipping him over my shoulder , he landed on the floor with a grunt then I grabbed Erens and did the same.
" Ugh Emma I hate when you do that. " Eren groaned from the floor , I then heard squealing from the other side of the room where Levi and Hanije were. Hanije was holding Levi's arm and jumping up and down , Levi on the other hand looked like he wanted to die. Hanije then spoke something to Levi and walked over to me. " Before we leave , Levi said he wanted you to clean his office. " She patted me on the back with a mischievous smile and walked off with Moblit , I watched her walk off then shrugged before sitting back in my seat. 

Levi and Hanije's conversation - Levi's pov

" One month and your already crushing on Emma. " I looked at Hanije who took a seat beside me and smiled. " Tch I'm not. " Hanije rolled her eyes and scoffed, I pulled away my vision from Emma and Eren and glanced at Hanije. " Don't lie to me , I see the way you look at her. I seen the connection last night you guys had with your gazing and I seen the way you express your feelings for her behind closed doors. " I grimaced at the thought of Hanije watching are every move , she smiled wickedly and patted my back. " She is never having her first kiss with you pervert! " I looked back at the table where Eren was hugging Emma protectively , the horse faced kid stood up and so did Eren. " You here that , Emma's a pure little baby and never had her first kiss. Swoop in fast enough and maybe you'll be her first. " I looked back at the table to find the two boys arguing with each other , Emma swiftly stood up and grabbed the horse faced boys arm before flipping him over her shoulder and letting him land on the floor with a loud thud. She did the exact same thing to Eren then stood over the two with a smile. " She's amazing! " Hanije yelled ,  seeing Emma do that made me like her even more , she was just so strong, Hanije held my upper part of my arm and started jumping up and down. " Damn shitty glasses , just go away. " Hanije laughed loudly then whispered. " I'll help you with that kiss! Don't forget I see everything. " She skipped away happily towards Emma. " Before we leave , Levi said he wanted you to clean his office. " Damn shit for brains , I ran my hands over my face with a groan. 

Back to Emma 

Eren scooted back to his seat and sat down with a groan. " You gotta teach me that. " Eren muttered , I giggled softly and patted his back before standing up. " Anyway before we go into town , we still have cleaning duties so we have to go back to the castle. " Eren let out another groan and stood up as well. I headed out the door with Eren then looked back to Captain Levi to make sure he was still on page , good thing he got the message and followed us out the door. We mounted are horse then sped off to the castle , I felt the wind go threw my hair yet again which felt amazing not to mention it was a beautiful day out. Once reaching the castle we walked inside and put on the stuff to clean , I grabbed a bucket with a dust rag and some other cleaning supplies before walking to the captain's office and knocking on the door. " Come in Emma. " I heard deeply from inside , I slowly opened the door and walked in. Captain Levi was sitting at his desk doing some paperwork. I walked over to the bookshelf he had against the wall and started dusting off the imaginary dust. I wonder why he wanted me to clean his office , its relatively clean already plus it was stained with the smell of cleaning supplies and lavender. The lavender smell smelt nice threw my nose which made me feel rather more relaxed , as I dusted off the huge shelf the room was fulled with nothing but silence. It brought me back to the conversation we were having with Jean. Sure I'm 17 and still haven't had my first kiss which to me sounds kinda embarrassing but nore did Eren , sure Eren's older than me by 2 minutes but I at least thought he'd be that brave to kiss at least someone. Without thinking I opened my mouth and spoke without compulsion, 

" Have you ever been in love? " I didn't glace behind me but continued to wipe down the shelf , I heard the soft shuffling of papers stop and the sound of his leather chair moving. " Maybe , have you? " I wasn't expecting an answer but his was rather soft not with his usual tch and attitude. "No I-I just never found the right person. " I muttered , I lowered my head feeling embarrassment for even asking such a ridiculous question. I don't know whats gotten into me , I just had the sudden erdge to ask that question which caused me to act without restraint. " Emma come here." I widened my eyes at the tone of voice and the sudden request , his voice was much more deeper than before and much more intimidating. I hesitantly walked over , putting one foot in front of the other before I stood in front of him. The blush risen to my cheeks  and the embarrassment I felt became stronger. " Is this about the first kiss conversation you had with the horse face. " I giggled softy before realizing what he said , god I'm so embarrassed.  " Y-you heard that? " I rubbed the side of my right arm and lowered my gaze to the ground. " Look at me when your speaking. " I looked back at him to find him out of his chair and stand directly in front of me, I gulped silently and widened my eyes. " Can I be your first kiss? " My eyes widened at the sudden attention then attempted to process what he just said. " W-why? " I muttered , my cheeks were burning red and my body was just fulled with shock. " Tch truth be told , I've never had my first kiss either. " It was absolutely shocking to hear that information , I thought him being the strongest and absolutely bravest in the survey corps would lead him to have some undivided attention. I could agree to say he was handsome and well his personality was kinda luring to me but I never would have thought he'd wanna be my first kiss. 

He moved some hair away from my face and tucked it behind my ear before cupping my face into his hands and slightly leaning in. " Are you okay with this? " He whispered ,  I placed my hand on top of one of the hands he had held on my cheek , I shut my eyes slowly and nodded. Are lips were inches away to the point I could feel his hot breath on mine , I slowly opened my eyes to find both of us gazing into each others eyes much like last night when we were star gazing. He leaned in slowly before I felt his rather chapped lips on mine , the kiss was soft and sweet and was such a shocking experience. When are lips touched it felt like electricity traveled threw are lips and connected , either this is real or I'm dreaming. I never imagined this is how I would have my first kiss , especially if it was with Captain Levi. We instantly jumped away from each other at the sound of loud pounding on the door. " Captain Levi! Were leaving in 10 minutes."  I let out a breath and scuttled away from each other. " I'm sorry! I'll be leaving. " 

I walked out the door with the brightest blush on my face not to mention I was fricken embarrassed , I slowly trailed my feet down the hallway and hesitantly ran my fingers over my soft lips. " Emma I've been looking everywhere for you! Come on , we gotta go! " Eren grabbed my hand and went running down the hallway and to the exit. " Yahoo! We ready to go? " Hanije came running over to me with Erwin , Mikasa and Armin. " Uh yeah totally. " We sat on the carriers that were gonna take us to the town , I sat across from Erwin next to Eren and Mikasa. Soon enough Hanije and Levi sat down , I avoided my gaze too shy to look at Levi and decided to look at my empty lap. The carriage was silent but occasionally you could here the soft whispers between Hanije and Levi , I wonder what there whispering about. 

During the middle of the silent carriage ride , Erwin finally started speaking the plan to capture Annie. Last night I already captured everything I had to do with it so I avoided any talk and pretended to listen , Eren was rather more eager to catch her and Armin being Armin was helping improve the plan or whatever. I sat my hands on both sides of my leg and rested them there , Mikasa grabbed one of my hands and squeezed it then sent me a soft smile. I smiled back the continued looking at the ground. Minutes later and here we are arriving in the Stohess District , before leaving the carriage we put on the brown cloth that helped us with are plan and jumped out of the carriage. Mikasa , Armin and Eren nodded to each other implying they were ready , I nodded back before we started walking. Before I could officially take one step and hard grip was placed on my arm making me turn around in shock. Upon turning around was the one and only Captain Levi who held a firm grip on the upper part of my arm. " Stay safe , you got it? " He muttered , I widened my eyes before replying and nodding shyly. " Uh yeah you too. " I smiled slightly at him before running and catching up with the others. " We can't fail this. " I muttered , Eren looked back at me and said. " Yeah. " With a small smile.
