Chapter IV

~Scarlett Ruse~

We had been in the mall for the past two hours and I still hadn't tried on a single dress. Zeke and I got a bit carried away, and ended up playing table foosball in some toy store. We all know how that goes. Both of us refused to lose, and every time one of us did, we had a rematch.

It's not like I'm complaining, in fact I'm more than glad I didn't have to go to dress stores. I love dresses but trying on one after the other was rather annoying.

We walked from store to store, trying on only the things that caught our eyes. Zeke and I were actually having fun dressing up as complete and utter idiots.

So far, nothing had called out to me as such.

It had been so long since I had done this with him. A smile made a way onto my face as Zeke walked out of one of the trial rooms, dressed up in a floral top and florescent pink booty shorts.

"How does my booty look?" Zeke smiled cheekily whilst doing some poses.

"It looks poppin'." I replied, giving his bum a spank.

He just rolled his eyes at my tactics. Old habits die hard.

"Well this is a waste of time. We should go to some boutiques." Zeke stated. I groaned. My feet were hurting from all the walking we had been doing.

"C'mon Scar, I really want you to get a decent gown. Besides, I heard there's a bunch of hot boys that work there." Zeke said, sending a wink my way.

"Fine." I huffed in defeat. I knew there was no way around this.

Zeke clapped his hands, walking back to the changing rooms.

We left the mall and hopped onto Zeke's bike, this time, he didn't let me drive saying that he knew I would drive us home.

Not a lie. Not at all.

Most boutiques were on the other side of the city and I was not at all thrilled about going there. I wrapped my hands around Zeke's torso and rested my head on his back.
