Third person's P.O.V.

Xavier's men had been doing ground work in Greece for the past two days now. It was clear that Rose had been kidnapped.

It just so happened to be a planned kidnapping. Every possible camera tape from the route had been cleaned, the car had been burnt near a bridge and there was barely any trace of where they had gone or who it could possibly be.

Back in the palace, Hayden and Xavier were wary about being right. Xavier had countless enemies, one to many who loved to play dirty.

All they had been able to gather was a picture of the boy who was clicking pictures of Rose.

It was the dawn of the third day when one of the men caught site of the boy from the café. Wasting no time, he went after him as quietly as possible.

With his werewolf eyesight, it was easier to be stealthier than what the boys ears would catch onto.

With one lamp flickering in the whole lane, it was dark enough to get away with crime.

He was but a whisper away when the boy saw him approach, panicking and trying to escape.

The boy was barely half his size and before he could sprint off to safety, the assassin wrapped his arm around his mouth.

His screams came out muffled as he was dragged into the darkness.

He thrashed his body with all his might but to no avail. All his struggles went in vain. The boy had been captured and he was frightened to his very core.

The last time he had been around men this big, they had not been very kind to him and from the looks of how he was being dragged away at the moment, it was only logical of him to want to escape. The danger through the eyes of a victim was intensified, with good reason.

The assassin tied him to a chair, tapping his mouth. A call had been made on his way here, informing others of his whereabouts.

By the time the entire team had arrived to the abandoned warehouse, the boy had already talked.

They only had to verbally threaten him. He was a mundane boy, who thought a bunch of thugs were looking for their sister.

They had approached him, and when he refused to help him, they had beaten him up - promising a much worse punishment if he didn't follow through with what they asked of him.

All he knew was how the men looked. He described the men to the team and the only noticeable feature he remembered was a tattoo.

He also mentioned the place where they had asked to meet him with any information he could gather.

Taking the address, they left the boy at a sidewalk, handing him a bagel and warning him to beware of his surroundings.

He was shocked at the weird week he had just had but shrugged as he stuffed the bagel in his mouth, walking back home while looking up at the sky.

The team had only started searching the site when a girl no older than fifteen, walked into the room with a knife in both hands and a bag slung across her shoulders.

Treating her as a threat, one of the soldiers approached her, trying to block her path.

She used her knife gracefully, slicing his thigh.

He growled at her before grabbing her by the neck and lifting her off the ground.

"I have a message for you." She rasped out, desperately choking on air.

"Leave her be, she is but a messenger." Commanded the head of the team, aware of her kind.

He knew, that she wasn't given a choice in the matter - her fear evident in her eyes. His wolf could smell it from a mile away.

With trembling hands, she took out a wooden box from her backpack.

Chanting a small spell, everyone watched in dread as blue smoke was released from the box.

A few soldiers stepped back, while the others got ready to attack her. The general held up his hand, stopping them.

He happened to be acquainted with witch craft. Blue smoke symbolized a warning.

It took a while before the smoke died down, the tiny witch placing the box near the general's foot with shaking hands.

"It will open on it's own, when the right person steps in front of it." She whispered.

He nodded and with that, the girl was gone.

They let her walk because she was nothing but a naïve child caught in the crossfire. This unquenched thirst for power among the super naturals was going to led them to their very demise.

Not that they weren't aware of it. They just couldn't help themselves.

He carefully bent down to pick the box, afraid the wooden contraption would somehow open or explode.

Once the package was secured in a bag, the men loaded their cars as they headed back to their master, their savior and their king.

We're so close to chapter 50, are you excited?

I just  can't bring myself to end this story gosh! There's just so much left to explain and I really really really want it to be perfect you know? So I'm not sure how many chapters are left to go but I've grown so attached to this storyline, I'm not ready to let it go just yet.

Ok, another genuine question - Y'all want a single story or a sequel? Because if I keep this a single book, I don't know how long we'll be here. I feel like it's a better option to break it into a series rather than just a standalone. I'm leaning towards making at least 2-3 books about this.

How does a trilogy sound?

Also, I plan to write a story about Rose separately altogether, trust me it's gonna be spicy af.

Let me know what y'all think!

As always, I hope you enjoyed :)

And if you did, please don't forget to VOTE, COMMENT AND SHARE!!

I love you guys so much❤️️❤️️❤️️
