Chapter XXIX
The next morning I had gotten up excited as ever. I had already told Xavier last night that I was going to get some coffee with Sasha and he just requested me to keep a phone on me at all times.
As if I'd ever leave my phone.
I had gotten ready in a rush, running down the stairs in a hurry and through the gates as I waited for my Uber outside the palace.
We had decided to grab a coffee and maybe go to a nearby arcade.
As I payed for my Uber, I slowly took in my surroundings. Venice really was breathtaking.
It almost felt like I was part of a movie scene, the trees looking green and healthy, wind blowing by and the fresh smell of baked goods.
As I entered the coffee shop, I spotted Sasha seated in the corner.
She looked up from the magazine as soon as she noticed me coming over and got up smiling.I gave Sasha a bone crushing hug, my smile beaming.
Gosh, I had missed her so much.
"Hi." She chuckled.
"I missed you Sasha bear." I said, not letting her go.
"I missed you too baby." She finally let go of me, "But before you crush my body, let's go fill our stomachs eh?"
We settled after we ordered our beverages.
It was a while before our gossip finally settled down and Sasha smirked at me, "So, what's been up with you and ehm..."
It felt like high school all over again. I was sure I was blushing like crazy.
"Oh my god, you like him!" She screeched.
I slapped a hand over her mouth as if someone would hear her.
She raised her brow at me and I finally sat back when I was sure she wouldn't lose her shit.
"Is he your mate?" She asked eagerly.
"Yes."
"Holy fucking shit." She looked surprised for a second before she started bombing me with questions, "What's he like? Did you meet him at the coronation? When are you having babies? Wait a second, I don't see a mark."
