Chapter 5
~Scarlett Ruse~
Our plane had landed after a good sixteen hours. Being my obnoxious self, I was hardly able to catch any sleep on the plane and I groaned when I realized we were in yet another time zone.
Still recovering from my previous jet lag, I was feeling like a rag doll. My bones were stiff and I felt worn down. Not to forget, our king was going to be coronated.
This was going to be one hell of a weekend.
Stretching my arms up to the sky, I tried to relax my muscles.
"We've got a long day, let's get going." Rose said as she gently tugged my arm towards the exit of the airport.
"Why did I agree to come again?"
Rose rolled her eyes, "Because you're a curious little cat and would've died if you missed the coronation."
Not arguing, I followed her. Before I could register anything, I was seated in a car along with my family.
As we drove to our hotel, I admired the vintage structures of the city. It really was something else.
I watched as the locals and tourists roamed the different sites the city had to offer. Throughout the streets on Venice, gorgeous houses and buildings with arched windows and painted shutters were prominent.
No doubt, Venice was going to be crowded with almost the entire werewolf population sighting here but that didn't stop my inner photography enthusiast from wanting to explore every inch of this beautiful city.
As the car came to a stop, I couldn't help but gape. The hotel in front of my eyes looked like a goddamn castle itself!
I wonder what the actual castle was like.
The porter carried our luggage and I thanked him once we reached our room. He smiled before leaving us to settle in.
If I thought the hotel was beautiful from the outside, then goddamn the interiors were freaking gorgeous!
From the little detailing on the pillars to the Italian marble flooring, it was all perfect. The neutral colors in the room complemented the gold in ways I had never seen before.
Even though I was beyond exhausted, I wanted to just run through the streets of Venice. It was such a colorful and cheerful place.
"Girls, try and get some sleep, we'll go out tonight and tomorrow morning. Sounds good?" Dad announced.
Both Rose and I nodded.
The moment dad shut the door, we decided to have a pillow fight. Picking up the big luxurious fluffy pillows, we attacked each other.
It was a while before we both crashed on to the bed, all spent.
Venice, here we come.

This was a really short and crisp chapter but this was more of a filler since I wanted everyone to have an insight as to what Scarlett thought of Venice.
I hope you guys enjoyed!! I know I haven't update but I had my boards. Really sorry for the delay but I'm back for good.
I'll try and update every alternate days now, so, be ready because in the next few chapters, you guys are really going to be in for quite the ride.
