Chapter XX

"You KILLED her with them words dude !" Hayden exclaimed, not stopping his rant that had started about ten minutes ago.

"For the love of god, shut the fuck up Hayden." I groaned, knowing he had seen the whole thing go down and wasn't going to let it go that easy.

Xavier had already been informed about the arrival of the pool girl and I couldn't help but think about what relationship they had. I felt the slightest pang in my heart and let go of that thought just as soon as it came.

I ran up the stairs and towards my allotted room. Shutting the door behind me, I exhaled. This was not how I had expected my day to go.

I was beyond hungry at this point but I was looking for any excuse to not face Xavier or Hayden.

I was anyway smelling like chlorine from the pool.

With that thought in mind, I got under the shower, enjoying the cold water hitting my body. It helped me relax the taught muscles and made me feel fresh.

Grabbing a towel, I hastily changed into a pair of black pj shorts and a plain white t-shirt.

I was seriously contemplating whether I should go for dinner or just go to sleep.

Screw it, I'm damn hungry.

Running down the four flights of stairs, I finally entered the kitchen. At the sight of freshly baked tacos, my mouth watered and I didn't spare a minute as I grabbed them right off the counter, shoving them into my mouth.

The moment the flavors hit my tongue, I groaned.

That made my appearance pretty obvious to the staff working in the kitchen.

"Miss, you should grab a seat at the table." One of the chefs said.

I nodded, grabbing another taco on my way out, following the staff. I was to busy eating the tacos to notice that I had reached the dining  room.

Once I finally looked up, I saw that Xavier was already seated at the table and Hayden was no where in sight.

Next, I took in the room. The dining table was big enough to accommodate a small gathering. There was a big chandelier hanging in the middle and all the walls had royal engravings. What stood out was the modern long table and chairs.
