I couldn't lie, I was scared.
The room was colder than the rest of the palace, goosebumps rising on my arm as an unforeseen force pulled us in.
Taking in the room while I still clasped Sasha's hand in an iron grip, I was rather surprised with what I saw.
The room didn't have a spec of dust, not an ornament out of place.
It was eerily quite as we stopped atop a long aisle filled with what appeared to be a milk like liquid.
I looked over at Sasha to see her look as pale as I imagined myself to be.
I held in my breath as my heart beat escalated.
An essence seemed to be forming out of the pool of milk, finally taking form of a translucent figure.
Sasha squeezed my hand but stayed as still as a statue.
The female figure raised her right arm, the milk dripping from her, whispering in the softest of voice, "Let the process begin."
With that, the force holding us up let go.
We both yelped as we plunged into the pool.
As we were falling, I fell away from Sasha, our hands no longer holding each other.
I gasped, holding in my breath, eyes frantically searching for Sasha inside the milk like water.
There was green smoke swirling around me, making it hard for me to look.
I swam around frantically before I needed to get back up, my lungs burning for air.
Swimming upwards, I kept on going and just as I was about to resurface, something wrapped around my leg, pulling me to the very bottom of this messed up pool.
