I woke up to a throbbing head. I slowly opened my eyes, blinking ever so lightly. Stretching my limbs, I yawned lazily.

I was in Xavier's bed. Dazed, I got up quickly.

Bad decision.

Pain shot up from my side and I sat right back down, grabbing onto my rib.

What the hell?

I lifted my shirt up a little to examine myself and saw an ugly bruise forming on my left side.

Moving a certain way hurt, breathing to fast hurt. Dang, was I finally dying?

Letting my shirt fall down in place, I slowly tried to get up without moving my side to much.

Once I was successful in doing so, I sighed in relief only to regret doing that as well.

Gritting my jaw, I walked towards the bathroom.

It was only when I had washed my face and looked up at the mirror that I saw a little golden mark on my upper arm.

Frowning I took a closer look at it.

It was a circle holding a star within. There were intricate writings on it that were too small to comprehend.

I bet it wasn't even in English, looked like gibberish to me. Something told me it was Lara's doing. Or at least a part of it was.

Rolling my eyes, I walked to the dinning room. My stomach was growling with hunger.

I was aware of what had happened in the Oracle's room but I just refused to believe it. For now, I was just a normal person who was hungry enough to eat a whole ass lion. I knew I had to fuel my body if I wanted to feel any better or make sense of my situation.

All in all, I just wanted to go right back to sleep.

I felt exhausted, as if my body had gone through hell and back. Probably even had, huh.

Laughing at my own mediocre I finally made my way into the kitchen.

When I was done with my meal, I pulled my lowers down a bit. Over eating was not fun but my compulsive ass couldn't avoid it sometimes.

It wasn't necessarily a bad thing but I just needed a second to make room in my stomach for even air to get in there.

Exhaling heavily, I waved goodbye to my favorite chef who smiled at me as I walked out.
