[Ace of Diamond] Kuramochi Youichi x Injured Reader

A sigh escape your lips as you exited the clinic, carefully walking with a crutch under your arm, and it was the worst thing that could ever happen to you. It was a little while ago, you were doing some laps around the course during track-and-field practice, when you accidentally missed your footing, causing you to stumble and sprain your left ankle.

It was mild but still troublesome for you to walk properly. You try taking a few steps forward, wanting to get used of the support.

"(First Name)!" It was then, a voice startled you, and it was the least person you want to see in your current state and it was no other than Kuramochi Youichi.

"What happened?" Kuramochi says worriedly as he approached you and noticing your bandaged ankle right away.

"I, I lost my footing, and fell down." You admitted with a sheepish smile, and Kuramochi did not hesitate to help you by supporting your right arm around his waist, disregarding the left crutch whereas his free hand on your shoulder, before proceeding to walk again.

You may not admit it, but having him beside you made you feel a lot better. Despite him having a rough appearance, he is really good at taking care of others, and it made you fall for him, although in secrecy due to your uncle, who's the coach of Seidou's baseball team.

"Youichi, you really don't have to." You protested earning a smile from the said male, reassuring you that made your heart aflutter, and came into a realization. Now that I think about it.

"Wouldn't Uncle penalize you for being here?" You brought up, knowing your uncle's personality when it comes to someone skipping training and such.

"Coach is the reason why I am here in the first place." Your eyes immediately widen, taken aback from Kuramochi's explanation, although you didn't question it further.

Arriving at ths stairs, Kuramochi retracted from you, and crouches down, his back facing against you. "Get on, it's much more easier this way." He said that your eyebrows furrowed.

"What about the crutch?"

"You won't be needing it, I'll be your support." He utters and you decided to climb on his back after a moment of self debate.

"Hold on." Kuramochi informs before standing up and you wrap your arms around him securely. You eye the leg rest which was put aside for passersby to see.

Treading down the stairs, you were becoming high-strung. Your heart beating rapidly inside your chest with your cheeks starting to heat up as a somewhat comforting silence comes in between and you take this opportunity to lean your chin on top of his shoulder, not getting a glimpse of the forming blush on Kuramochi's cheeks.
